Albeit being a short week, I found myself counting down slowly to weekend. There are so many uncertainties this month. It’s killing me to wait until next month knowing that I can’t influence anything. Or can I?
Friday was finally here and we decided to pay a visit to Chinatown. The decoration was all up. Is it only me, or the dragon decoration did look so much nicer than my bunny year’s? Not fair!
We reached the Chinatown at around 8.00pm. We had a walk around for 15 mins, and then decided to go to Yumcha for dinner. There was no queue when we first reached, but it was soon crowded within the next half an hour. Talking about Singapore’s dining time. We ordered its specialties Hor Fun, as well as 4 baskets of dimsum.

We strolled out the restaurant at around 9pm, and then decided to check out Swanston to buy some essentials. Alas, the door closed just as we reached there. We then went for a walk around Chinatown, and left before 10pm.
It’s two weeks to Chinese New Year, and the place is already cramped. We can hardly walk when we tried to make our way to MRT.

| And lastly, the Grand Dragon spanning across the street! |
I found a surprising statistic when chatting with my friends– 3 out of 3 Singaporean I asked NEVER go to Chinatown for CNY ^^; Anyway, it’s not as bad as Marina Bay during New Year Eve, so I guess I will still return to Chinatown now and then :)
Welcoming Dragon Year!
