Happy B’day to me.. happy B’day to me~~ *narcist*

Eventually, I reached the head of 2 :D Should I be happy or sad... I’m not a –‘teen’ anymore T__T Felt abit uneasy to accept it.. I used to be called ‘me me’ by others.. now it is ‘ci ci’.. and some already call me ‘auntie’… urrgh.. hahaha.. but that’s the way it is. Time can’t be paused, can’t be stopped, can’t be rewind.. so… everyone.. must treasure every moment of life we have, k =)

This week has been wonderful for me.. on 20th March, it was my second nephew b’day. On 23rd, it was my first nephew’s b’day… and on 25th, It was my b’day :D My greatest thanks to my roomie.. for making my 20th b’day so so so memorable :’) She was planning a surprise party for me, which was very successful (I can say so since my level of suspect was only 30%, incredible low) hahaha.. Thanks so much roomie.. Thanks so much for all my friends who had came here too during mid night.. or shall I said, my great family here at NTU.. I really treasure it a lot.. :’)

On Morning, I was morning called by my sister.. Thanks so much for calling right from Taiwan.. Sorry to sound so sleepy on the phone (blush) Talking about Taiwan, one of my friend was also calling from Taiwan! At 12.03, midnight, right after the call from Ari’s.. (You’re the first.. thx Ari :D) I was really really surprise.. and lame me that I can’t guess who was he from the first place.. T__T Until he finished the song and teased me ^^;; hahaha.. Thanks so much, Pin.. appreciate it lotz lotz.. next year I must be better in recognizing voice.. but lucky I can still recognize the voice of the liar from Switzerland.. :p hahaha. Thanx so much You Xiang for the b’day wish too :’) And of course, not forgetting the call from my parents.. Truly appreciate all those calls… :D :D Lucky that none of them is a final call XD (the movie horror still sticks in my head! Oh no.. T__T)

Last but not least.. Thanks to all who have sms, msn and skype me.. and even friendster testimonials, messages, and ecard... u have made my day so memorable.. love you all :D

My birthday celebration was ended with another party from blazers.. this time is the collaboration with Handy's b'day (for the three consecutive year) haha.. Thanks minaaa.. I ate 2 cake in one day XD got a nice nice nice bag from blazers.. and a very cute hand phone stand from dear roomie.. :D

Few days before my b’day, on Friday to be exact, my parents came to Singapore to visit me. This time, they are coming with tour.. so.. instead of me being the lousy guide, I followed the trip organized by professional tour guide XD haha.. We had a nice dinner at restaurant, a cozy sleep at hotel, and a fun weekend at sentosa.. I has been planning to bring them to Sentosa before.. this time, it can be realized :D with the tour guide help somemore.. ^^ very very fun to visit the merlion, images of Singapore, skytower, 4DMagix, and more and more and more~~~ Too bad that my parents are leaving in the afternoon.. We’re not managed to catch the Musical Fountain.. :(

Btw, on early Friday (gosh, my entry is really not chronology this time) I got the news from NTU Mac Club that I got the ticket for wwdc this coming june.. but then, at the afternoon, they sent another email saying that it wasn’t finalized ^^; hahaha.. anything~ But I really wish that if I’m to got it.. I can got it along with friends.. will be so boring to have the vacat.. ee.. the conference without friends (I know Imam will say: “wrong objective of applying!!”) hahaha.. anyway.. wishing all the best for everyone.. =D

Aha, I also somehow have finalize my stressful project 8.. fuiih.. testing yet to be done tomorrow.. had really ignored my logbook for the time being ^^; Alfon was sick.. just now he was looking abit weak, and kept sneezing due to flu.. :( might you get well soon, sup.. =)

Another week has come around...

Yup... Another week passed.. Let’s start this blog as usual.. This week is.. hmm… 2-3-1-3-3. Seems like it’s going to be constant at 3.. The second bus got more and more irritating. I was stunned when I reached bus stop by 6.25 and it’s already gone (usually second bus was on 6.30) Even the speedy Henry didn’t manage to get it! (just to emphasize that it wasn’t my fault.. :p) The next day, I came down at 6.23, and get the first bus instead.. =.=.. Then.. I eventually decided not to be rushed and so uncertain anymore.. and took 3rd bus successfully for the next days. Problem solved for the moment. But I still doubt if I’m to take third bus everyday.. it was really a downgrading from first bus to second.. And now.. The third..

Anyway, all of you might think that I’m so lack of topic that keep discussing the same thing over and over.. Sorry all.. Sleeping time is very important for me.. Every second of morning time counts. XD

After the whole experiments in office last week, eventually I can started the project by the end of the week. I reached my first so-sick-of-office this week. The unclear project, the busy supervisor, the slow oracle, add on with the fact that my other friends got their day off for Exclaim.. I was totally discouraged.. Oh well. At the end, I survived though.. The situation was getting better on Friday.. while the line for the project is somehow clear, and the supervisor isn’t so busy anymore.. And the allowance for this month is out. Yeah! Haha..

Next week, the NTU tutor will come.. I was totally blank of what to do there.. and when I asked my supervisor, he joked instead “what to show? What about giving him a punch?” =.= sigh.. just wait until the day..

I spent my weekend with my cousin this week. Yup.. Lisa was here from Thursday.. for company training.. She worked at Far East (I just know how big the company is after she explained ^^;) I stayed 3 days 2 night with her in apartment at Clarke quay.. a very nice apartment, seriously.. Has been so long since my last time sleeping in air con.. huahaha.. I went to meet her on Friday after work.. she has been waiting for me at MRT station for almost half hour >.<.. she looked quite different now.. has been almost 2 years since we met last time… Then… Even before I suggested what to eat, she has bring me to the kopitiam at central. Hueh? Then she brought me to her apartment.. soon I realized that it’s she who guiding me.. We slept at almost eleven that day.. the next day.. I slept like a pig until 9++.. She had already out for her training.. thus.. I just went back to hostel.. wash my clothes.. then went to vivocity for dinner with her. The marche is opened already.. I was planned to bring her to eat there.. but the queue.. olala.. our stomach wont be able to survive for so long.. haha.. Thus, we eventually have sakae sushi at habour front center XD… after that.. Shopped until late at night ^^

Btw, I eventually bought a ‘new’ Charles & Keith on Friday.. why there is an ‘’ there.. After trying for almost half hour and desperate to find a new shoes, I saw that my old model was still on sale.. so.. eventually bought it ^^; huahaha.. my cousin laughed at me.. and my roomie said that she would never buy a same model shoes no matter how she liked it.. well.. I did feel abit weird when I bought it up.. but since I like it.. I think it will be fine, right? :D

On last Sunday, our kitchen is flooded. Roomie and I noticed it and we are warning each other to be careful walking there.. On the lucky Monday, I forgot about it.. walk inside to the kitchen while reading my Singtel bill.. sigh.. the result was clear.. I slipped there. Doh. It hurts T_T.. Thanks roomie for the zambuk.. I got a big bruise on the next day.. now it’s getting better already.. quite an experience not to read while walking.. haha..

Oh, yes.. this week is also the week of blood challenge and operation moving hearts 4. For the blood challenge, we got 828 donors… better than our last record of 821.. but we didn’t manage to reach the 1000 :’( I bet it’s due to the rainy weather, which made it difficult for them to walk there.. buh… But anyway, 828 is a huge number.. Thanks to all who have donating.. and of course, thanks to my partner and my subcomm who had been working so hard… Now I really realized that I did very little on the actual event day >.<

Shifu and his roommate has already moved to hall 3.. since then.. Seems like there has been a lot of improvement…. Right, shifu? Hohoho.. ok2.. shall stop the gossip here XD.. Today will be their open house.. They give me the task to make sure s.o came. So hard the task.. fuiih.. :p

My cousin will go back in this afternoon.. farewell dear.. wish that you will enjoy your work there.. and.. I’m looking forward for my parents next week… Yup.. they are coming.. Why seems like they always gave me surprises? ^^;

Week 11 is coming.. Ganbatte for everyone who are having exam soon =D I’m currently still in class 1 of TKTQ.. so hard to move to class 2.. thanks henry for the riddle recommendations.. it made me slept at 12 for the past 2 days.

This week is 1-2-4-2-2. It hikes at third day, but after that, it returned to normal. The starting was very good.. The student was reaching bus stop even before 6.10. Wednesday was only due to a bit bad luck as the third bus left when student reached there. That’s all for the Bus news for this week.

What about situation at office? Heem.. To be honest.. I’m not comfortable staying up there. The pressure I felt distract my concentration in working.. top up with the warm condition up there.. And all the colleagues that I didn’t recognize.. And the feeling of loneliness when it came to lunch time.. (Thanks Jasmine for always being there for me) I lost my motivation to go to office this week :’( I wasn’t got used to PowerBook yet. I don’t like the touchpad. The display made my eyes dried. And maybe because my projects this week were really out of my interest. To start learning new thing has always been hard. First thing was the Dashboard Widget. I really didn’t know what to do for the first 2 days.. the javascript was so complicated that I felt like I want to smash my laptop. And again, add with the warm office, my head almost explode. In the end.. after few days, I managed to get ride of it.. As I showed him my first draft.. He was quite satisfied.. I was relieved and planned to continue.. But then.. He asked me to stop it.. and did another project. Happy since I can switched from the head aching widget.. But I never know that my new project is even worse…

After all.. excuse me to still taking narcism pic with it XD Irresitable.. especially because the laptop isn’t mine. Haha.. It was taken when I’m Office Alone II (as opposed to Home Alone). Can u imagine that Imam and Liao Liang were having holiday.. while I was stuck there alone? Same as Office Alone I (during CNY), this time we went to eat at Ang Mo Kio center.. I was with loy, henry, yongky, imam, and another friend of loy.. lunch time was about 2 hours XD

Enough about work.. this week I was having 2 times buffet and 1 KFC.. (talking about food has always been a happy thing to do :p) first buffet was at Seoul Garden @ Bukit Junction. Second one is at Grand Copthorne @ Tiong Bahru there. KFC is usual.. at my favourite jurong point ^^ Now I really felt fat.. hahaha..

On Wednesday, we’re having Red Cross meeting until almost 11.. I was really gaining some knowledge there.. quite a meaningful meeting. =) Btw, Red Cross, working together with PINTU, is going to held the Operation Moving Hearts IV.. in aid of west Sumatra earthquake victims.. I wasn’t help much besides creating posters and put it inside website ^^;

Ok ba.. time to end my blog.. tomorrow will help them with the open house at hall 3.. hahaha.. talking about open house, today NTU open house was awesome. Lit up my freshman-goodie-bag-collection memory XD Nice dance, Handy Henry =)

14 weeks to go

2 months of IA eventually passed.. This week was 1-2-2-4-3 (bus taken, respectively from Monday to Friday). Can see that it’s fluctuated, isn’t? Especially on the fourth and fifth day. This week around, I reached office late (about 5 minutes) without feeling guilty ^^; Opened up my computer, poured coffee, checked email, then started doing my stuff. Then having lunch together with other IA students.. then leave together at 5++.. what a pleasant IA…

Then suddenly, on the last day of the week 8, exactly 5pm before I left.. Everything seems not going to be the same anymore (ee.. I felt that I’m too dramatic ^^;;) hahaha.. My supervisor called and asked me to go to level 3, his office level. I thought that there is any bug in my program, thus I went there directly. Once I entered the office, he showed me a cubicle. “Do you like the place here?” Only then I got what he meant. I’m going to be moved there. Gosh. I’m really stunned.. don’t know why.. really can’t answer his questioned properly on that time. “um um.. ok..” ^^;.. also when he showed me the PowerBook G4 that I’m going to use.. “how? Happy to get a laptop?” I really don’t know what to reply >.<.. “This cubicle will be empty for at least 1 month.. so you might want to move here.. you can then have more interactions with other team members” I truly understand his good will. He meant not to keep me isolated from others.. Wanna let them know more about me, so it’s easier if I want to go back to Apple to work… Thanks a lot Alfon, you really keep your promise to “try to give me the best within your privileges” Even the laptop.. really appreciate it a lot.. =D But.. to mention what I have to forgo.. heem.. freedom to be late, to chat with other IA student, to use the printer, to be slacking, to eat snack, to go back together... it was quite a lot too.. T__T.. but I might survive. I know I will (hopefully…..) hahaha…

Friday night is always the joyous day in a week. I still feel very charged after my deportation and reached hostel at 8.. ^^; I chatted for awhile, after that try to fill in the form for WWDC.. it is a World Wide Developer Conference.. for Apple Developer. I was quite interested.. While I asked the other IA students, they said that they might apply too.. so I may as well apply :p.. Well, you might have already guess it.. my interest for the conference is 10%.. the 90% is to be able to visit California with accommodation being paid.. yaai~ (evil mode) hahaha.. The form was unbearably lengthy. I didn’t even finish 5% of it when I went to sleep at 2.. haha.. Oh, but there was Adi Putra’s b’day celebration in middle.. Happy B’day Adii ^^.. Wish that you will be more and more cheerful every year… Friends forever hor! Hahaha…

Saturday morning.. woke up at 8++.. rushed to bath.. Then went to Can A to ‘help’ (with moral support) to hang banner. Haha. Thanx so much for the help.. Medy and Rina.. it really means a lot.. sorry to trouble both of you.. and of course, thanks so much to my subcomms.. whose names I still can’t remember until now (blush). After hanged the 5 banners (and 1 at boonlay, thanks to Julianto and Calvin) I went back.. rest.. finished my WWDC application, sent, then went out for dinner with friends..

I reached 1 hour late than the appointment time at West Mall.. >.<.. so sorry, rina, winson and jess.. You all must be very hungry >.<.. so did I. Haha.. we ate at Japanese restaurant.. It was really a good one.. I choose a set menu.. which contains of cheese, fried chicken and soft crab. so nyummy.. o^.^o.. cheers to Winson as the recommender. Hahaha.. we ate until 10pm.. (might be until midnight if the waiter didn’t sweep us out) then went to buy a lot of candies at Giant, for the NTUSU ‘you smile’ campaign. Jess really got a lot of thing to do ^^;.. All the best for the event, jess!
