Last Post?

I was stress up on Saturday ^^; as the result of it, I finished watching heroes episode 2 (episode, not season) and started to watch fumofu.. They were right.. fumofu is very funny XD.. haha.. On Sunday, I didn’t do anything but watching and chatting. I watched Pirate of Carrabian 1 with roomie.. such a nice movie.. lucky there was subtitle along.. thanx to Helios for it.. :p

As now is counting down to the end of IA, the mood to work is really not there =.= I slept at almost 12, wake up at 6, felt very unmotivated, got 2^nd bus.. didn’t know what to do… so try to sleep although I felt quite awake. Reached office, don’t feel like start coding (although I need to update Alfon later) and started browsing instead =.= Browsing until around 8.30, then start my day.. felt unmotivated for the whole day.. I’m not sure why… Maybe because the work is sort of repetitive now? I finished the project at 4.. after showed it to Alfon, he didn’t give anymore feedback. Instead, he asked me to think of enhancement myself T__T I don’t like to THINK.. somemore because I don’t really understand what they want… how to enhance? >__< __=" he">

I went back at 6 plus.. then stopped at Fair Price looking for chocolates. Thanks for the advice, Che.. I eventually bought 2 boxes of ferraro roche for the farawell gift.. then, buy bread and cheese.. I’m bored with margarine, really ^^; Back to hostel, I tried the bread + cheese and put it in oven.. It melt nicely.. and when I tasted it.. OMG… that was my most delicious bread creation so far XD.. I love it a lot.. I should have tried it since the very beginning. I finished 2 slices of cheese that day.. ^^; after that, continued with my booklet, chatting, and slept at 11.30 after smsing Happy B’day to Helios…

Next day, wake up at 6.. still felt very unmotivated although I got my work at office (yeah, to think of don’t-know-what improvement) Had my usual routine, reach bus stop at 6.25, but the second bus had already left!! Whatt!? That was cruel.. it usually left only at 6.30.. T__T so eventually, wait for third bus, which isn’t doubledecker.. and it was very very crowded when we reached boonlay. Seems like a lot of people was left by the second bus.. haha.. I slept at MRT soundly until yio cu kang (thanks helios for waking me up) and then.. we still managed to get the Today’s paper! Unbelievable :p haha.. Then reached office.. start my routine of saying morning to security guard (because no permanent staff was that friendly), making coffee, browsing, then working.. I started to open my iChat that day.. and sort of addicted to it XD.. however, it didn’t last long.. my boss kept coming back and caught me on iChat.. then as last warning, he sat with me for 2 hours.. so eventually, I decide not to on it anymore.. haha.. There were problem with the GSM remote.. it didn’t work at my boss laptop.. that cause another headache for the day. I left office at 5.30, since I had promise Calvin to take the bodyshop that day. When I reached boonlay, Calvin alerted me that my shoelaces was loosened.. But since I was taking too many stuff, I said that I would just tie it at bus. Eventually? My shoelace stuck at the elevator!! At first I tot someone was steping on that.. then when I realized it.. it was too late.. It was very crowded that time, and I really causde a mess =___=.. it stucked for almost 30 seconds, and I pulled until my shoes was eventually torn and I can get off. Sorry for all the passenger, and thanks to one auntie who conformed me by saying ‘that’s alrite.. don’t worry..’ it had really been comforted me. My leg was still hurt when I reached can A at 7… then talked with Medy for 20 minutes, went back hall to eat bread because can A was already closed :’( I wanted western.. was so happy when I saw that it was still opened when I reached.. I should have dapao before.. sigh.. After finished passing the body shop things to friends, I started to ask regarding the accommodation at US. Hope that we’ll still have placed to stay there.. Finished with 1 page of booklet, then went to sleep at 11.. That day was quite a mess.

I wake up abit late on Wednesday. And again, the second bus left me!! Something is wrong with the bus, seriously. It was 5 minutes earlier than usual. The difference meant a lot on early morning, k. Because I was late for 1 minute, I eventually need to wait for another 10 minutes for the third bus.. sigh.. T__T Calvin was also going early, since he can’t sleep well last night. Haha. I reached Yio Cu Kang at 7.50.. no more newspaper.. T_T.. then walked to office.. then started my day.. Gosh, I’m quite bored already.. lucky that’s it’s going to finish soon.. T_T I tested the GSM remote at different Mac version: iMac, MacBookPro, PowerBook, etc, before come to the conclusion that it was compability issue with the MacBookPro.. too bad.. so I will need to figure out what to do with it.. sigh.. And also the testing of email service. The max capability is 250 email in one shot.. instead of 10,000 like what he wanted.. seems like I didn’t have any good news for him in this few weeks. He asked me to change it to linux script. Then he also asked me to research and implemement SMS gateway, enhance the applescript, improve the interface of my project, documentation, etc.. How many days he thought I had? It really made me felt unfair when I saw others has already been playing around.. while I still go out at office only at 7 :( I hoped that I can survive..

Back to NTU, I went directly to Medy’s room. Yup, we needed to apply for accomodation. It was only 1 week to go, and we haven’t get a place to stay yet. +__+ We’re so confused with the lack of vacancy.. and added on with the stupid javascript that didn’t allow us to booked, we spent more than 2 hours on it.. Worse, when we’re experimenting on how to made it works, we successfully booked it! But it was on the wrong date. T__T It lead to another problem. Back from Helios B’day celebration, I went back to Medy’s place, settling the room together, then went back to hostel.. tired.. I had been so sleepy this whole day T_T but then, I remembered that I still have things to do.. eventually slept only at 3..

Wake up at almost 12 for the next day. Lunch, then watch Pirates II with roomie.. Nice movie :D now I felt that I wanted to watch Pirates III at cinema.. but almost all people watched already.. T_T pirates, anyone?

One more week to US.. and I haven’t started to pack yet. With the current work load that my supervisor gave me.. seems like this will be my last blog until I back from there…

2 more weeks...

Last weekend has been quite fun. Not really doing anything except pushing others to submit the write up for booklet. I called home on Sunday, all my sisters are gathered at home.. oh, how I want to be there too.. After some consideration, I’m thinking of going back this July :p I just can’t resist my mum cooking XD

My week-20 started at 6am. I wake up (a bit) late.. but since I didn’t get any breakfast, I managed to jump to 2nd bus ;) not a bad start. Reach office at 7.40. Planned to transfer money for some WWDC cost.. but figured out that OCBC can’t be used to transfer to POSB.. eventually ask Jasmine’s help to do so.. thankie pal~

For the rest of the day, I dealt with the mobile number validation.. @.@ now I know different country code and valid mobile number.. country like Japan got different valid start like 70,80,90… most of them are complicated.. Lucky that I only need to take care of ‘8’ and ‘9’ for Singapore XD.. haha.. At almost the end of the day, I got email from Alfon.. Update my latest improvement.. .then.. continue testing the AppleScript using production metrics.. The AppleScript directly sent email to people inside database list.. and Alfon name is inside.. he must had been spammed XD.. I went back at 6.30.. promised myself not to go back that late again tmrw..

Tuesday, I started to work at server room, tried to configure the server. I expected it to be a half day job, which turn out not to be so. Everything was so screwed up that I needed to ask for Imam help.. I stayed until 7 to fix the problem I caused. Yeah, only fixed. I haven’t configured it yet ><.. Back home.. felt quite tired.. replied Redcross email regarding booklet.. Except CIP and ISP portfolios, the rest not really seems to working on the portfolio write-up :( Quite sad about it. I slept at 11.30 after working on OMH articles.. Eventually, Wednesday. I wake up only after I heard my roomie alarm. At the time I heard it, I didn’t realize yet that I was late, and try to sleep again after it stopped. When my blood seemed to get to my brain, I jumped up and run to shower. Managed to get the 4th bus.. Met Ivana there.. and also Helios! Haha.. so he was late too :P I reached yio cu kang at 8.. not getting newspaper this time.. then went to server room.. and started to sweat as the monitor was blank. Ask George about it, he helped me to restart the server. After that, the monitor was working. Then, it was at the boot screen for more than half hour!! Again, I asked for help.. T_T Andy from desktop team was helping me this time. What an experience.. I really don’t know what I did wrong. Eventually, now I learnt some apple command shortcut like apple+s for single user, apple+v for verbose, etc.. (must look from positive side what..) After I was left alone, I need to deal with the annoying MySQL 4 which refused to retire after I installed MySQL 5. At the end.. asked for Liao Liang help ^-^; I believed they were scared to see me now. However, the problem was eventually settled.. Thanks so much Liao Liang.. I didn’t drink at all for the whole morning.. eventually felt very dehydrated and sore throat during lunch time ><><><>< eventually I met him without any preparation. And it run pretty bad. He seemed not to be interested in what I have done.. his first question was “How is your small2 project?” My fault that I told him I was doing small project during his first visit. I might need to learn how to boast T__T so.. everything was very mess up. I wonder if there will be any difference if I prepared for it?

After the meeting, I did final checking on my project and sent it to Alfon. Wait for half hour, no reply, then I rush to Westmall to ask about Singtel international roaming.. The result was very very negative.. “You apply under student visa? Foreigner? $200 deposit”.. I was just about tried to argue that I had already deposit $200 there.. then.. “ah, you are under 21? Need your parental concern.. or guardian at least..” !!@@#$@#.. how come it’s so difficult only to open a roaming service? We got it without even need to bother if we’re prepaid.. unfair huh T_T eventually I decided to do nothing. Plan to think about it later (but still stuck until now) Then went to have a walk at gift shop.. I haven’t found anything for supervisor.. left westmall with a $2.9 Thank You card.. ^^;.. Feeling tired and hungry, I had subway for dinner :p.. very very full after that..

I spent the rest of my Friday night “trying to concentrate in doing booklet” and playing a cute flash games.. ^^; slept only at 2 after finished discussion about booklet..

Saturday, have my routine of cleaning room.. after that, sort of losing my temper about the booklet thing :( they never get back to me like what they promised.. and like now.. after all the sms, no one really reply… and I believe no one was really reading the guidelines I wrote.. because they don’t even attached photo, no subcomm name, no quote, just a 200 words write up. How am I supposed to make it to 2 pages!? And I can feel that they don’t care about their pages. Why should I waste my time for something that they don’t even bother? That make me lost my motivation and inspiration.. T_T Anyway.. after cooling down, I realize that it’s part of my responsibility.. I can’t expect everyone to do what I want.. Will never grow up if i never face this.. I think I learn something new today ^^;

Ok, time to going back to booklet. Just Follow Law is just beside me. Need a lot of focus not to lose to the temptation XD

---What on last weekend---
Saturday, I planned to finish my rough design for booklet. I stared at computer for the whole day, and only managed to finish 1 page T_T Worse part is that I got a strong headache at night... I have no idea why it happened.. Stayed too much in front of computer? Can’t be.. Then I just concluded it might due to the hot weather in these few days. Eventually, after taking the third shower and 2 panadol, I went to bed at 11...

Sunday Morning, wake up at 8.20.. Preparing for the upcoming electrical maintenance. At 9.05, I brought all my belonging to reading room of hall 13. It includes laptop, charger, big water bottle, notes, jacket, sweets, chocolate, and more. I have checked with Arianto and confirmed with Xiao Yu team that there would be no black out at their place. So I reach reading room safely. The weather was very very hot at that time. I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out how to open the Air Con. After it worked, I started to connect my computer. When the laptop was still searching for network, the blackout happened. T___T.. So, it’s the 13 Hall Office who didn’t do their job to mass mail their residents.. The blackout was for the whole teen-halls.

Eventually, I sms Rina, asked if there was still a place at MSE lab. She answered yes.. so I re-packed everything again, and went to the lab… As I said, the weather was very hot.. I was sweating all the way when I reached there… wearing wet tshirt inside aircon room? Not a good sign. Add on with the fact that at ate Mac Donald for lunch… I got itchy sore throat when I back to home. Btw, the day at MSE lab was really fun =) I can’t remember when is the last time I was studying together.. but instead of studying, we’re all doing report.. hehe.. I was quite a slacker, kept disturbing them XD Thanks so much Boly for the access card… I eventually can spend the blackout Sunday at aircon room~

Monday, wake up late at 6. Have a quick shower and half portion of breakfast before running to bus stop. Still manage to take bus on time ;) Plant to do my report on MRT.. but then, felt too tired as I can’t sleep well yesterday.. eventually tried to sleep at MRT instead. Reached office.. continued my project.. found out during lunch time that almost all my friends were sick. Imam was having all in one: fever, flu, cough >__< get well soon, nyo.. Zhang Fan was sick since last week, no wonder we didn’t got news from him… Loy was tagged with medicine from doctor… All that situation kind of make me worried.. Some more, Loy tease me that if I talk too much with him, I will get affected too, like what happened to his boss.. sigh..

I worked until 6 that day. When I have packed, I realized that I forgot to pass my logbook to Alfon. Brought it to his cubicle, then he asked me about the project progress.. Explanation came towards discussion and then become testing.. T__T I eventually leave at 7 that day.. Felt that my throat is getting worse and my eyes are quite spicy (maybe spicy not the right word.. anyway :S) Those are the sign I usually got when I’m going to fall sick.. I quickly drank a redoxon when I reached home. Slept before 11 this time for precaution…

Tuesday morning started with 2 sneezes. Eventually can formally declared that I am sick T__T but I still needed to go for work.. Had my half portion of breakfast (again), then I went to bus stop. It was raining as I stepped on the bus.. Again, felt very tired and cancelled my plan to do report.. Slept until Yio Cu Kang. It was still raining when I went out from MRT, although it was not very hard. After much consideration, I decided to take bus 70 instead of walking.. but blur me as usual, I go down 1 bus stop before Apple !!@#.. I eventually needed to walk too.. T_T.. After all, I can confirm that my decision to take bus was right. Although it wasn’t raining very hard, but the wind was very strong.. made me tremble when I reached office. Planned not to drink coffee.. but I needed something to warm myself.. so.. Another cup of daily coffee :p.. Felt like want to slack for the whole day.. but eventually continue with my ‘research’. My research was more on gathering information on ‘why it can not be done’, instead of ‘how to do it this way’. Have another ‘discussion’ with Alfon from 2 – 4 (sorry to take up your time, Alfon…) He started the discussion with “I can see that you’re stressed up, your pimple coming up already…” T__T no comment on this. We ended the discussion with a hi-5. Yoz! Let’s work and forget the stress! (I wonder if it can be done concurrently) After discussion, I worked until 6.30 and went back.. met a lot of people in 199.. my GL, reza, rizky, etc etc.. then had dinner with Rina at can 13 ^^ 8pm seems to be late for non-exam period. We were left with choice of Korean and Vietnam.. I choose Korean eventually ^^; grabbed a slice of watermelon on my way back (eventually started to eat fruit after falling sick). Started to do the booklet form 9 until 11, then dropped to bed with jacket until morning…

Wednesday, wake up as usual, shower, breakfast, then went to bus stop. I was eventually wearing jacket. My flu seemed to get worse T_T totally slept at bus and MRT.. reached office at 7.35.. Really too early T_T Continue with the projects.. Around 10, Alfon came up and asked me to join him to the hub. He said that I might need a walk in order to get my brain working for this project…. No comment (again). I never know that there is a hub in this office! (Although I know that there is hub in Singapore) hahaha.. The hub was like store room, where I can see thousand of ipod there.. got very excited and almost try to steal one.. (hehe, just kiddin) we’re taking XServe and then proceed to the server room. Got the hand-on experience to set up and start up the server ^__^ glad although I kept sneezing there.. It was very cool inside the server room. I back at almost 12, then went for lunch and continue my project afterwards…When I was almost done at 5.45, Alfon popped up and raised the discussion: there are still some problems with the current project logic. In that case, we eventually decided to change the specification. Again! Oh no.. I know we need to do it.. but to be honest, I wasn’t really satisfied with the conclusion we had that night… However, my mind was just too tired to propose better solution. I went back at almost 7.30 that day.. Felt very tired and saturated. Can’t slept due to my mind.. no mood to do anything.. I ate noodle then went to sleep at 10..

Thursday, woke up after a nightmare of the project. Felt dizzy, but decided to go to office anyway. I can’t solve the problem if I try to run from it. When I reached office, I eventually made a decision to re compile the PHP to include some necessary modules. To my surprise, the module saved my day! But the drawback is that.. we’ll need to recompile all the PHP at different server, because the module isn’t supported by default. I told Alfon about it, and he also seemed to prefer this solution rather than yesterday’s conclusion. Haha.. So I eventually moved on with the project. Have lunch with team members at 12 (so lucky to be asked, since Jasmine them were on meeting) Only during that time, I know that Alfon is going overseas this Saturday! Ohh.. That’s why he kept pushing for this project? I believe he was stressed too.. sigh.. I felt quite guilty that time. Somemore he told me that he will have half day leave tomorrow morning while we’ll be having telematch at the afternoon.. Back from lunch, I decided to finish the project today (although during previous discussion, I was requesting for 2 days). By 5.15, I demo the project.. Eventually there was no long discussion this time. =) Finished the demo by 6, went down to upgrade the testing server, then went back at 6.45 with Imam. Sorry for being late for 15 minutes T_T.. I have nasi lemak for dinner and slacked for the rest of the night. However, felt guilty of doing nothing.. so eventually update Red Cross website =)… I slept at 10.20.. got some cough that make my slept uncomfortable.. sigh..

Friday, really really lazy to wake up. I believe it was due to the medicine I drank the night before. Still half awake when I eventually reached bus stop.. No body was there. I tot that I miss the 2nd bus.. .but then.. 2 minutes later, the bus arrived! Hurray~~ 1 week of 2nd bus~~ I wonder if I ever achieve this before? Haha.. But I was really sleepy.. slept until my neck aches when I reached Yio Cu Kang. Managed to get the Friday Todays ^^ reached office.. I kept thinking of excuse to run from the telematch. Not because I don’t want to join.. but I afraid that my condition will get worse on Monday. “So what? Monday sick then MC lar” was what Loy told me ^^; eventually I decided to go. At the end, all the IA students were going. I got the black wristband, which meant I belonged to black team.. Imam also got the black wristband.. but then, he didn’t want to play.. T__T.. Liao Liang got black.. so he exchanged with Imam.. and I got mate in black team o^^o.. I met alfon there too.. he seemed to be the coordinator. He was in black team, but didn’t really played. We had 21 people in black team.. so we called ourselves black jack ;) The games was fun.. and better yet, we are the winner!! Yaayy!! Got a small radio as a gift :p plus the wristband, drink and food, it wasn’t a bad decision to join the telematch XD (not forgetting that I can slack from work and go home early~)

So, eventually I reached hall at 5.30.. I usually still at office that time XD.. having early dinner with Death Note 31.. then suddenly got a sms from Henny asking if we wanted to go for KFC… oh no.. I wanna join.. T_T haha.. anyway.. after dinner, I drank the medicine again.. now felt so sleepy.. might have a early sleep today.. Would actually need to go for First Aid training tomorrow.. but cancelled due to full class T_T

Back to normal =)

Around 1 month ago, I remembered that I complained about all the routine I had to go through everyday.. And now, I can’t be more thankful that I eventually back to my everyday life ^^ human just never satisfied with what they have, eh? Only after they experienced the bad time, they can then appreciate the good time. I feel that it’s quite true…

The bus-taken order somehow reflects how well my lifestyle is. This week is 2-2-2-4-1. And for the first time this month, I manage to get the weekend-Today, which is a very thick one XD (that’s why it’s given out very fast)

My Monday was a bit messy. Michiko was eventually back to Singapore… while I was still in her cubicle T_T quite weird when early in the morning, she arrived and I sat together with her, as I didn’t know where I should move. I waited for Alfon to come, then told him about it.. Alfon then moved me to Hiromi’s place, as Hiromi was on maternity leave. Not long after the move, Alfon came, apologized, and asked me to move back to the same cubicle with Michiko.. Since Hiromi’s place was actually going to be occupied soon, too.. sigh.. T_T I wanted downstairs… but Alfon said that downstairs are all occupied too. Not a lie. Today there are 6 new interns from NUS coming in. the first one introduced to me was called Diana. Sigh. I was surprise, needed to quickly change and introduce myself as Erlin instead. haha.. the second one is a vietnamise. She looked familiar.. oh yes. I met her during the RedCross Common Orientation XD… It’s really a small world afterall. Haha.. she also still remember me. The other one is a china man.. while I never really met the rest..

When I was going for lunch, Jasmine told me that her supervisor got a new intern too, called Erwin.. didn’t have last name, but his surname is Liong.. Haa!? 4th Erwin and 2nd Erwin Liong I know.. haha.. XD Jasmine told me that he is also from Indonesia. Huh? He really didn’t have the face. Dig down further, found out that he is from Medan! ... went further, he was Medy’s friend at Singapore Poly. =.= Again, this is a small world after all. Haha.. That day, we went for lunch in full team. I sort of tried to run from team this time. Alfon rejected my pay for the Friday $11.55 meal T_T The best way not to let him treat is to hide as far as possible. Haha.. My Monday is quite nice. I figure out that my secure token is still working, Kim Hui receipt’s is settled, and I got back my mobile phone v^^v although I need to queue for 3 hours at woodlands T_T

Tuesday, I started to do log book again.. As my phone was back, I continued my project after enhancement to other projects. The rest already start the documentation.. while I am still in research phase.. >< feel quite left behind. Haha. Tuesday was so-so.. Apart from that, I felt that I did thing too slow. Is it only my feeling? But Alfon also kept asking me of what I was doing.. I think I’m really slow.. T_T anyway, that day, after some discussion, I decided to give a try to learn COCOA. I totally know nothing about COCOA.. so I tried to follow the tutorial from apple. It’s so weird that they didn’t start the lesson by teaching us how to echo “Hello World”. Instead, they taught how to build an application.. After trying to understand it for 3 hours, I searched through Wiki to know more about COCOA… “It is Objective-C”. I lost my hope to learn COCOA as I see the word “C”. Told my sup honestly that I’m allergic with C.. lucky that he understood and gave me a new challenge instead: Dealing with AppleScript, combining it with PHP and MySQL database… for Korean language. Trust me; the mixed encoding in those different environments is good enough to keep me occupied for this whole week and next week.

Wednesday, I spent some time on the research before moved down to help Loy with his program. Yup, Loy’s supervisor request my supervisor to let me help Loy in his development (confusing, huh? :p) but then.. my supervisor didn’t seem to be very happy when I said that loy requested for my help at that time. I went down only after a lot of interrogation. I think I know why.. I didn’t tackle my project well too.. How you suppose to help other while urs was in a mess? >< Anyway, I was down there until 6++ before going back together with the rest.. Plan to eat KFC together at JP.. so sorry Loy that I refused to eat it at Ang Mo Kio Center.. felt guilty that u eventually didn’t join us :( But then.. as I reached KFC.. I forgot all my guiltiness XD hahaha.. Very happy to see KFC.. more surprised that Imam planned to treat us for the KFC.. and even topped it up with cheese fries for us + chicken wings.. nyo.. Thx so much.. Really full and touch.. XD Congratz fro your sweet 21st.. (eh?) hahaha.. may you achieve what you want for your future v^^v.. I did a very little chunk of report that night.. i didn't know how, but Yun Fei knew that i was taking his report, and inform Jasmine about it.. oh.. quite embrassed that i didn't ask for his permission ^^; I slept at 12 that day...

.. which eventually caused me to be late on Thursday ^^; hahaha.. wake up only when my roomie alarm is ringing at 6.20.. (thanks Che) I sort of lose my panic as I get too used to it last week =.= Went for a quick shower and run down for bus, I still miss the third one T_T.. surprisingly, this time no one is taking third bus.. boly was taking first bus while helios was taking 2nd bus.. I be the champion by taking 4th.. haha.. that day, eventually helios got time to bring his mobile to nokia service center.. he didn’t even need to wait for his turn T_T why is it so.. sigh.. I have lunch with team again today.. Eat at somewhere near Ang Mo Kio center.. Surprisingly, the guys didn’t talk about politic this time, but about the games. Ok, too bad that I never played game.. so it’s still the same alien languages for m e. T_T they also talked about movie and tv series.. which I also blur.. sigh.. why they didn’t just talk about food? Hahaha.. XD just joking.. anyway, in the end, Alfon asked me to copy Heroes for him.. hahaha.. my pleasure :P talking about copy, I’m still waiting for Zhang Fan’s Friends series.. he seemed to disappear in these 2 days.. Cant contact him too, as he just lost his mobile >.<

Friday, I start my day with a cold coffee.. cold? no, not because I put ice on it, but I realized that the hot water dispenser was broken only when I filled up my cup. Sigh.. I tried very hard to stir the coffee.. after all, the taste wasn’t that bad :p haha.. Michiko-san arrived after my coffee break... so I need to revoke my attention to slack T_T she was a very hardworking person.. I saw a lot of testimonial from her friends, all written in a big card with some drawing.. she also had a lot of cute things.. Exactly like what we usually saw in manga comics.. oh.. I really want to feel how is it in Japan.. it looks very cool XD One day, I must visit japan and met naoko takeuchi :p :p just kidding.. after those day dreaming.. I went back to reality.. working with the korean characters @.@... went back only at 6.30.. reached hostel at 8.. have noodle as dinner, then chatted until 12 before going to sleep.. it’s not cool at all.. very different from the day dream =.= haha..

Saturday.. haven’t done anything much today.. must continue with my booklet again soon. Tomorrow will be report.. plan to go somewhere to do it as there will be no electricity tmrw.. Hope that I can start my ureca by next week.. IA is ending in 4 weeks time.. I really haven’t prepared for the final presentation yet T_T.. how to prepare.. even the development isn’t done yet. 3 more projects to go…

When everything turned out to be un-routine…

To start with, let’s continue of what happen last week..

My computer went wrong on Wednesday. I went to Bugis on Saturday. They said that it as due to power supply.. I changed it. But then, different crazy symptoms occured as I took it back. I believed that I would soon be one too if I didn’t settle it. Thanks to daddy advice, I eventually assured myself to go to bugis again on Sunday. I was taking taxi with Henry and Winson.. thanks so much for both of you.. the fact that I took taxi showed that I was not calm at all.. and very irritated. Very very irritated with my computer.

As I reached there.. the shop just opened. The technician was laughing when I said that my mouse and my keyboard hanged because it was not compatible. But when he tested it out, he gotta believe me somehow. Aha! Then, he tested my keyboard with an ugly mouse. And it worked. Then he tested the usb port too.. and soon declared that my usb controller is spoilt. And his advice? “I think u don’t need to change the motherboard.. why? Because all your component are actually deprecated already: the graphic card, RAM, processor, etc.. if you change your mother board to support those things, when the other things spoilt, it will be hard for you to look for those components.” Added some more: “more importantly, your cpu still can be boot right? Why don’t you just bear with it first, buy this cheap mouse which can work with it – I showed it to you now - and when everything really can’t work, you change the whole in once.. because they all near their age already. In that case, you also save your money”

It was really an appealing solution on that time. After going through deep thinking during lunch, I decide to believe him, as he should have had greater experience. So we went back again without repairing anything.. and I spent the rest of my day trying out mouse that probably can work with my keyboard. The result is? Zero. Even when I use inche’s keyboard (Thanks Che..), my mouse just hang whenever the keyboard is connected. After endless experiments, I believe that there is somehow an error or crash between the keyboard and usb port. (Thanks for the great conclusion, Ari) At that point of time, I still don’t feel like give up. There must be a way.. but what? I did think to just open my computer and remote it from library everyday.. I tried to remote and it was actually working.. but, is that visible for the long term? I doubt so.. library closed at 9.. and after that, where should I be? Add on with the fault usb port and strange start up, I eventually conclude that I will go to Simlim again on Tuesday, on labour day. I knew that I can’t do anything with it at that point of time.. but my mind simply can’t get far from that. One of the reason is: This is a problem that I can’t settle only by myself. I will need help from other people to take it to Simlim (you may argue that I can take taxi.. but well – I believe I will get lost) Asking help for 1 time is ok.. but 3 times in a row? You must be kidding…

This thing bothering me quite a lot at night… it eventually resulted with me in 4th bus on Monday.. The 3rd bus was just half meter away from my standing point, but it chose not to wait for me.. I realize that I lost my notes book too that day.. Not a good start, wasn’t it? Thanks Ari to magically found it at hall 13 reading room.. I can’t recall other things on Monday (use to get my phone as reminder.. but not it’s sleeping cozily at Nokia Service Center. Come to that soon)

Tuesday, labour day. Until that day, I still don’t have a clue who will help me to take the CPU.. I was feeling very very uneasy to ask for them help.. seriously.. but with thick face, I eventually force myself to ask, for the one last time. Thanks so much Boly to be the one conforming to help.. I know that you’re seriously busy, but u still offering to help.. I was really touched, trust me. At the end, thanks to Tomy, Julianto, Handarmin and WK.. for all their help in bringing the cpu for the third time.. Million thanks.. I ate KFC again that day… this is the first time I ate KFC without cheese fries. But not forget to say, it’s still nyummy :p Some bad part on that day is.. although we came quite early, we need to wait for the technician until around 4.. before he changed my motherboard in half hour time. Feel mad to the other technician since he don’t even bother to help me change it. I was quite wondering why..

After testing that everything was working, we went back at 6 and have dinner together. Is it the end of my computer case? No, it’s still too early.. I need to reformat and install all my applications. What a long night…

Wednesday.. Another day, another disaster. I wake up late again.. was taking 3rd bus on Wednesday. Around 9, get a meeting maker note from my supervisor: meeting at 4. huh?? I was planning to took Visa at 2.30 that day.. My supervisor already granted the request and encouraged me to go home afterwards.. what is this now? I later find out that he just simply forgot about it.. but I really don’t mind going back after all.. so it’s settled.

Then come my stupid acts. I planned to go at 1.30.. so instead of having lunch at 12, I thought to work until 1, then went for a quick lunch and set off to red hill. Due to that silly plan, I first reject a lunch offer from Alfon. Second, I reject lunch offer from Kim Hui. Can you believe it!! Kim Hui! The boss of my boss!! He looked oddly at me. I believed he would never asked me for lunch again. After all, Jasmine promised to wait for me..

Then.. at 1pm.. Alfon was back and shocked that I hvn’t gone yet. He asked me to go for lunch and directly went to take visa.. I was actually still very curious about the apple script.. but since it is about the time.. well, just go for lunch. Jasmine was accompanying me… along with her supervisor. She told her supervisor that I’m going to US, end up we had a long lunch for 1 hour. I went out at 2.10. Reached MRT, waited for 5 minutes, then take the MRT to Jurong East. You notice anything strange when you read Jurong East? Yes, me and my stupid sense of direction. I should have been taken the one to Marina Bay instead. I reach Jurong East at 3.05, while the collection time is only until 3.30. Judging from last time experience, the 132 bus from Redhill to there will come in 30 minutes.. and the travel time is 10 minutes. And I’m still at Jurong East instead of Redhill. Thinking of the sequence of missing the collection time: another leave, apologize to other 4 members, debate at the embassy and so on, I eventually run all the way to taxi stand and got a taxi.. “To US Embassy, please” Lucky that the driver know how to go there.. or I’m a dead meat.

The driver was kind. He asked why I’m so rush.. and try his best to speed up to meet my time. He did laugh when I said I was from Ang Mo Kio, going to Jurong East, only to go for a place near Orchard. I can’t help to frown.. felt like a real moron. Eventually, I reached there at 3.20. Still manage to get all the passports. But the rush isn’t over yet. I have meeting at 4 o’clock. At ang mo kio. Another taxi? Don’t feel like doing so.. but believe it or not, I forgot the way to take 132 back to mrt station. Lucky enough that I met Kim Phong, who showed me the way.

At that point of time too, my hand phone betrayed me. It just didn’t want to show any display as I tried to inform Alfon that I’ll be late. In the end.. I was late for 20 minutes.. Missed 1/3 of the meeting, as the meeting only last for 1 hour. After that.. said sorry to Alfon, and told him that my mobile was spoilt. I don’t know how to describe his expression.. worry and sad.. but I hope he wasn’t annoyed.. because I need to stop my project then. My project needed support from my mobile. Somemore, my project support only Nokia and Sony Erricson.. while his mobile is Motorola.. so.. well.. T_T At the end of the day, thanks helios for the spare mobile.. you saved my day…

Thursday, I wake up at 7.10. It was really a record. My roomie was staying with her relatives that day. Now I know that I really need you, roomie. I showered with thousand fake excuses in mind: bus blocked, forgot to bring laptop, sick, etc etc.. In the end, I decide to be honest that I was overslept. Thanks Alfon that you didn’t mad at me.. even tried to assure me that it was a common thing. As I reached office, I found a stack of medical bill at my table. Kim Hui’s Medical. Again. So I need to do the job as personal assistant again.. to key it in to a claim form :S I asked for his user name and password.. but he kept forgetting to update me (until now) That day, I update Alfon regarding the project… and I confessed that I didn’t feel productive this week.. so sorry Alfon.. sorry.

At 5.10, he came and asked my help to stick the Chill Out poster that he had already printed out.. of course, I helped him happily. We put them in all different places at Apple.. finished around 5.40.. then I settled some stuff and went to Woodlands Nokia Service Center. I didn’t get lost this time, because the place is really just 2 steps away. Haha.. I wait for almost 20 minutes for my queue number.. then being attended by a nice lady, accompanied by a nice guy (who is Indonesian! Just finished his studying at Monash and it was his first day at work). They said that I will be able to take back my phone on Sunday.. or Monday if u preffered. Wow! 2 thumbs up for the service!! Just wish that my Nokia will really recovered afterwads.. I was kinda afraid that it was actually attacked by virus when I switched on the Bluetooth..

I reached back hostel at 8.10.. A bit mad with Aakriti, who caused me go back and forth to hall 14 bus stop 3 times waiting to pass the passport to her. (or maybe because I haven’t had dinner yet, so emotion unstable..) then showered, have a subway dinner, and watched Death Note. In the middle of it, roomie back home =D she looked very tired.. happened to lost her umbrella and an ezlink.. and at that night, her computer suddenly can’t be opened! (lucky that now is working already) I slept at 11+ that night.

Get back at 4am and (of course) went back to sleep again.. but didn’t have a comfortable sleep. It was raining hard.. but I kept waking up every 15 minutes >__<>

Forgot to put a pic... since i didn't activate my camera at all this week, let me just introduce my relative cum my best friend :D She just sent me the photo yesterday.. said that she looked ugly now withwire at her teeth.. hahaha.. you're still as sweet as usual, phing ^^
