24th December: writing the last blog of the year, set off to Changi Airport. Thanks Son to send me until the airport (and thanks Tom to send me until the bus stop :p). I met quite a lot of friends at airport… Glad to know that I wasn’t alone to spend Christmas eve on a flight XP I was in the same flight with Juli and Riki and his gf. The flight touched down smoothly at Medan, and I celebrated my Christmas eve with a full pack of fried rice and satay padang :D
25th December: I went to order a new spectacle at Thamrin, but can’t memorize what happened afterwards. Remember that I ate beef ball and some delicious noodle before went to pick my aunt from airport. Oh! I managed to pass my friends order to their respective families as well =D
The delicious beef ball
26th December: Fly to Penang with my aunt for medication. Reached there at around 10am. There were some hassle here and there regarding transport and accommodation, but we managed to complete the visit to both Island and Lam Hua Ee hospital on that day. I was quite astonished with how easy a trust is established there (and how sweet is all the salesman talk)

27th December: Spent the whole day shopping and travelling around Penang. I was there once, but it was 5 years ago and I can remember almost nothing. Thanks aunt for the short tour :)

28th December: Fly back to Medan, get furious with how my suitcase was cut and damaged intentionally by the airport staff. My face was so black that my brother-in-law decided to get the suitcase mended right away. Thanks bro. Afterwards, I ate the nasi padang with happy mood, followed with a full day wandering at Pasar Ramai, and a wedding dinner at night (yeah, free dinner, I always go home at the right time)
29th December: I went to get my hair trimmed, and was quite shocked with the outcome T_T Have no choice but to wait until my hair is long again to get ride of the current lion style. Mum was coming to Medan and cooked a sumptuous meal. What a life…
30th December: The day is finally here. My dearest cousin is getting married. I joined the tea reception, and was honored to be the guest reception for the dining. When I was at the New York Art bridal, I was so so so surprised to meet… Kerfarng! And spontaneously, my eyes are trying to find his partner… right beside him… yeah, it’s Agustina!! Haaaaa… She was so pretty! I know that they are getting married on that day… but to meet them at the same bridal!? How big is the chance? I was literally screaming and jumping ^^; and of course, my dearest camera was with me :D

31st December: Slept until 11 and spent most of my time packing stuff. I went to Sun Plaza to get some more stuff before deciding to go back and welcoming new year at home with J Co donuts. I tried to sleep, but still awake until 12 because of festive sounds of trumpets and fireworks. I said my very first happy new year to daddy, before falling into deep sleep.
1st January: Go to Polonia airport and praying hard that there will be no problem with the fiscal exemption thingy. And thanks God everything is really alright. In fact, it gets even better. It is no longer necessary to fill a form and submit any documents =D I passed… Yay! But later on, I heard that the real rule will only applies on 15th January onwards… means I can’t stop praying yet as I’m going back again on 22nd Jan =.=’

The new Fiscal Rules
So… I touched down at Singapore again safely on New Year. Thanks to Tomy and Fendi to pick me up and even brought me to the hidden canteen at Airport =D I reached back home, unpacked, feel quite unmotivated because of the ending holiday. But still, it’s the hardship that makes us appreciate the blessing. It’s the work that makes us appreciate the holiday.
Looking forward for upcoming holiday XP
