I don’t know what I want :( 5 days just come and go in a blink of eyes. I can’t recall what time I went home from office this week. I can’t remember whether I went to Kusu Island last week or last two weeks or last month. My life is on autopilot and I don’t even know if it’s a good or bad thing =__= I need to start planning… but about what? I like the typical 5 working days job, which I am already in, and which I might be staying at if I don’t do anything else about it.
In an attempt not to be seen as a dormant individual and to reduce my own guilt feeling, I decided to look for some other opportunities online. Well, the job descriptions look interesting, but none bring me the urge high enough to go and complete the application form, prepare resume, and do research for interview. Well, I think nothing can really go far if I don’t even know what I want to do. And it brings me back to square one.
Earlier this week, I had two dreams. One relates to family, parents, which make me feel homesick and want to go home. Another one relates to work – where my team requested me to stayed in Germany for a year and I happily agreed to it. Why such a contradicting feeling? I am totally confused if what I’m looking for.
Since in the end I still can’t see what kind of future I want, I decided to live for the present. I will go home when I feel home sick. I will go for business trip if needs be. And maybe some travels with friends and family every year to remind myself that world is bigger than only office and rental flat :)
You know, as you grow older, you tend to lose the enthusiasm of trying something new or doing something differently. Looking back to my university life, I suddenly feel glad that I decided to spend one of my recess weeks taking first aid course & joining the two days orientation at Changi. That’s the only recess week I remembered, and the only recess I didn’t spend on lab and project works, I guess.
Well, maybe from now on, I should set myself a target to do something for the “First time” every year. This time, lets start with joining a running race, shall I :D
Btw! Some achievement this week: I completed Glee Season 1! Yay! Now on Season 2 Episode 3. All because the delays in HIMYM and BBT that we got so bored and decided to complete Glee... and not I get addicted =__=
Another achievement is… I finally finished the book “What the Dog Saw”! After a painful 9 months :’D I don’t know, the book was so boring that finishing a page every morning is already an achievement by itself. Hope that my next selection of novel can be better than this.
Oh yes (suddenly notice that I haven’t mentioned anything about office). Things are OK. Big boss was on business trip & will be on leave next week… so hopefully things will be easier for me :p And! We got two new grads in office. One from SMU and one from NUS. Both are awesome :D and no one can beat the intern from NTU. There are already so many people hitting on her. Hahaha.. my office live seems to have a younger vibe these days :)
And since I still haven't posted any pic this week, allow me to introduce you to my favourite food in the office's canteen. My beloved Chicken Herbal Soup Miniwok. It worths every single cent of $4.5 :D

Some of Blazers are currently enjoying themselves at Perth… hope they are having the time of their lives there! :) They deserved it after the planning of almost 6 months.
Ok, ok, 5pm on a sunny Saturday. Time to log off and breath some fresh air!
