Yuuhuuu…… receeesss!! Eventually :D I have been waiting for so long.. hehehe.. (lazy me).. ok.. so.. here I’m again, blogging, after a month.. (from bi weekly become monthly.. doh! ><) hahaha.. I did miss blogging a lot.. but, I just can’t find a right time to blog in last month.. ^//^
Ok.. where I stop last month? The 4th week? Now is the time for 8th week… hahaha.. Have gone through a lot of exciting things.. let me recall.. a week before CNY was really a busy week for me. After so much addicted to Ureca, my course subject was really abit off.. on that week, I really have to run after deadlines.. haha… it passed nicely.. and then comes the Chinese new year :D This year is really memorable for me. Albert took me to his family grand dinner on 30 me… Can’t describe how nice it is.. I really feel at home :D.. Albert got relatives of our ages (and all are very kind) thus I can talk lots with them. I ate a lot.. I think I’m now 2kg fatter than before my CNY.. haha.. Very2 happy in those days. Thanx so much, Albert :D and thanx so much for all the hong bao, too :D.. I think I hit a record this year.. haha. :P
My brother went back to Aussie after the CNY.. He transited to Changi Airport, but it was already at 10pm, and only 2 hours transit.. Thus I didn’t go to meet him. (With she by your side, I’m not needed right, bro? :P) hehehee.. btw.. thanx so much ya Wi.. still remember to send me the Harry Potter 6 :D :D.. so niceee.. wo hoooo.. I have HP 6 nowww.. In Indonesian versiiiiooonnnn... Let's see what will happen to the book during this recess :P.. hehe..
On the first of February, the holiday was over… back again to school. Back again with lab and discussion.. haha.. well, not really bad, I did enjoy the CNY :D.. heheee.. btw.. one thing I just noticed… This sem, almost no day without discussion for me. No day without 2 discussion, to be exact :S… 184 to discuss tutorial everyweek, 181 to discuss 3G report at least 3 times a week, 206 to discuss the lab, 207 almost 3 times a week, with half members and full members.. really almost everyday.. T.T just like my 1st year time when I have meeting almost everyday.. now is discussion.. huk huukk..
Fortunately, I didn’t have that much meeting for 362. Thanks ya, boss albert :D.. haha.. but last month was really a challenging month for 362. We were tasked to make a flash presentation for our business plan… ><.. I started with a big heart and desire to learn the flash. But eventually end up browsing webpage, admiring how others can have such a nice design with flash… haha.. really really hard to start. Don’t even know how to begin. Really. Eventually, again, thanx to albert (for sacrificing breakfast, lunch and dinner money) and get the flash done.. fuiiiiih.. then I simply edit some text and give a little effect to the flash. But that little things itself already takes more than 3 days.. really really.. The requirement for this course is really tough.. but what made me felt unsatisfied: the prof wasn’t consistent with what he said. Last time, he said that the flash must be in average of 5 minutes. Then on the presentation date itself, he said the shorter the better :S.. Then, he said that we mustn’t use any template.. but then, the one he admired most is the one using a template ><.. huk huuk.. unfaiiir (or I’m just jealous :P).. hahaha.. Btw, at least he laughed when he watched our presentation. Well done, rite :) We really had put effort in it. A bit too much for a task with 5 marks ><.. such a valuable mark.. haha
Talking about mark, I just go through csc207 quiz on Friday, a day before recess.. 3 questions with total of 10 marks. 40 minutes. First question with 5 marks, done in 5 minutes. Second question with 3 marks, done in 3 minutes. Last question with 2 marks, undone after half hour.. urrgh.. felt a bit disappointed. But I’m not really the only one. Medy asked the teacher, and the teacher said that he is cheating on us. Bah.. the teacher bah.. really unpredictable. Have I ever mention about our soft eng teacher? Very unique. The first day we saw him came in and opened the computer, we thought he is just a student want to make announcement. Why? Did he look young? Not really, but he really didn’t have a lecturer style! >< fitted in hawaian shirt and took nothing but a thumbdrive.. weew.. and the more we’re taught, the more we suspect if he is actually trapping the real lecturer and pretend to be one. Haha.. Sometimes he forgot to comb his hair, and we can’t focus on anything but his hair for the rest of the lecture. Sometimes he finished in 20 minutes. Sometimes he showed us advertisement with rank 21++. ^^; and some of my friends even saw him carrying a cute yellow transparent bag at canteen 2. haha.. unique right? Wait until u heard his unique laughter too. Haha.. Even my tutor himself said that he always amazed by our lecturer, Chang Kui Yu.
Other subjects are pretty fine csc205 tutorial is really exciting ^_^.. Yanto always managed to finish everything on time, and last week, right before recess, since our lecture didn't manage to cover everything yet, after doing half the tutorial, he stopped and began to tell us story. Urrm, not really a story, but a math proof (no proof to show that he love math^^;). It's called Birthday Problem. "How many of you here? around 30? I'm dare to bet with you all that in this room, there are at least a couple who has the same birthday" haha.. That really make all of us excited. Some of them even asked how much he want to bet.. some is suspecting that he has already check on our particular. so funny.. haha.. then we let it be proven. Each of us mentioned our b'day. Can u imagine, only on the 2nd row, there was a couple already! and before it's half of the class, there was another one! :.. i'm abit stunned. And then, Yanto stopped the game there. he wins already, afterall. Later, he explained to us about the proof, that actually, assuming each year got 365 days, we don't need 183 days to get the probability of 50%. We got 50% probability only with 24 people! and as it reached 40+, the probability of people having the same birth is more than 90%. Amazing. I wont talk about the proof here.. hehe.. have lots to do with probability, factorial, and geometry sequence. Please check uncle google to fill your curiousity :P
Everything is going well, but I’m just abit afraid with group project.. I got 5 group project this sem.. ><.. really tested my socialization. Hahaha.. btw, out from the group project discussion, CEC also began to be hot with the meeting. It’s nearer and nearer to SCE day now. :D.. happy? Happpyyy. But also worried. It was planned to be in the middle of march event. But the place isn’t decided yet until now ^^; most of the time, it was placed in nanyang audi. But now, since it is in renovation, we have to find another place. We suggested canteen A at the first time, rejected, and the staff purpose sentosa :S.. crazy. Never thought they will come out with such idea. It comes from Dr Tay, our supervisor. Then we think of moving it to the end of March, after the Nanyang Audi finishes with renovation. But it is really near exam already.. anyway.. they decide. Let’s see the result next week. Haha.. along with Exclaim, GigaHertz is coming along too.. Pity us le.. last year, they got a separate committee, for both Exclaim and GigaHertz, now everything is under us.. huhuuu.. for the GigaHertz, seems like I have to spend my whole holiday in Singapore. T.T the event is IT competition, usually held during holiday.
Talking about going back, i just join GTD 8 too.. hehe.. GTD is Get Together Day, An orientation held by Indonesion, for freshiee.. haha.. i joined as pnp subcomm.. (as usual) :P.. thanx alot for calling me in, mbah Chan. hehe.. All the best this year for u as the prez! And ganbatte, yongky and dunkie. All the best for having a subcomm like me :P (hehe.. horn out) GTD job is coming up.. also the Welcome Carnival job.. in where i'm the programmer.. huahaha.. it's also held during the first week of school.. So many events for my next sem :D
I haven’t started anything for URECA this semester.. Too enjoy with Welfare Festival. Hahaha.. let me count my hunting.. (haha.. make me remember of my last year’s post) I manage to get free tshirt, free goodie, and free pizza…and a $3 movie pass (free for me, $6 for albert ^//^) that’s all the highlight. Hehe.. Oh yaaa.. I also got 1 clock, for answering a quiz. Hehe.. not bad, ya :D.. We also got priority queue in every free services we wanted for. Thanx to OCBC card :D.. haha.. lastly about welfare fest, thanx to my roomie, you’re a great organizer :D.. hopefully, u’re not too tired :) jia you jia you roommate :D
Oh ya… February is always identical with Valentine.. Blazers got valentine cum 15 me cum winson and agung b'day on february :D.. Such a nice party^^.. We have a 'couple game', at where every guy matched with one girl in blazer. couple need to have the same dress code. I got who-cares Julianto chou as my partner T.T.. can imagine.. i wore black and he wore grey near white.. huahaha.. anyway, later, we went through detective quiz: analysis of case. uhuu.. should be a pleasure for our Kudo :P.. I myself enjoy it very much.. our team was in the second place.. hohoho.. soo niceee ^o^.. Having fun with lotz and lotz of food.. nyam2.. thanx to nancy and boly as our main sponsor for all the food :D They even drank wine on that day.. but i didn't drink.. drank enough on CNY :D.. hehe. and or the valentine this year.. ehem2.. let’s keep it secret :P.. hehe. It is as memorable as any other day, since everyday is valentine anyway :D… Tomorrow is another valentine for me, going to eat KFC and Ben&Jerry.. heheheee..
