Coming home now…

Yaaz.. Tomorrow I’m going back.. feel so happy.. grateful that I eventually decided to go back, although it’s just one week+.. zhang jun himself is also on leave.. will only come back to sg on 7th January.. hahaha..

Today is Christmas.. Heem.. didn’t do any special thing.. only packing and cleaning.. having last lunch and dinner with ‘survivals’ before going back.. when they said ‘sun hong’, I somehow feel don’t want to leave.. ^^; All.. Thanks a lot ya… you make my holiday more meaningful~

For my Ureca.. I managed to ‘produce’ something in my last minutes. I did the interface, and smaaaalll part of the program. Yeah.. not much, but at least now I know how to do hooking. ^^.. special thanks to madChook =) Now I can leave Singapore without Ureca burden.. hohoho.. c ya again next year, Ureca!

And now is 10++.. time to go to bed.. will go back very early in the morning.. :D Minaa… Cya all next year.. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays (N’Sync)

This song is being repeated again and again as I typed this blog ^^.. Such a nice Christmas song :)

Had been almost one week without blogging.. hem.. what I have done? Not very far from slacking, watching, gathering, and trying to do my URECA.. very limited time is spent for the last one =.=.. After two weeks without a visible improvement.. seems like my mood was down.. and I was like taking my cough as an excuse to skip ureca… ^^; not a good attitude, of course.. but too late.. now is 25th December.. I’m going back to Indonesia tomorrow.. can’t do a lot anymore.. >.< nothing to regret though.. yaaaay.. ^^

My Christmas eve never far from Orchard.. haha.. Today, I had my sequel of shopping madness.. started my day with shopping at JP with Helios.. bought tee for daddy, chocolate for mommy.. then eat KFC as lunch together with tatsu, juli, and agung.. both jess and rina skipped KFC… they felt like having too much of it already.. sigh.. ^^;… haha..

With full stomach, our next destination was Bugis.. Tatsu wanted to buy internal harddisk.. for the welfare of blazers’ anime resource… hahaha.. so, all of us went there.. I bought a new $6 head set too.. as my old one is 60% broken already ^^;.. hahaha.. then then.. at bugis.. of course didn’t forget to pray.. =)

Finished with a short chapter at Bugis, we went to Orchard.. Rain was following us along the way.. =.=.. it made the road less crowded (maybe) but almost all of us got wet.. and somehow really dropped my mood… We reached Orchard at 4++.. then shopped at Tang (again) and managed to buy the happy b’day card I wanted last time ^^.. Met Jess at 5.. have some pictures at Christmas tree.. walking around.. then going for dinner. Our first dinner destination was Sakura buffet at orchard shopping center.. but as we reached there.. “reservation? No? full house then” oh.. T__T.. what make me “ T__T” is that we need to walk back again.. it was raining hard enough that time.. and.. gomene all.. as usual I didn’t bring umbrella… haha.. So.. then.. eventually jess suggested us to go to Paragon… got a lot of restaurant there. Yep.. she was right.. lots of restaurant there.. and we decided to eventually choose a popular one.. with queue more than 3m.. we have prepared ourselves to wait more than hours.. but then.. not even 15 minutes, we’re being called! While most of people infront of us still waiting.. waw? Seems like 7 people is a lucky number ^^.. we ate noodle.. and ordered dumplings.. Jess was right.. it’s delicious ^^.. and the waiter was so kind.. kept filling up our tea.. eating hot noodle with hot tea.. suited a lot with the cool weather.. really felt charged there.. thanks so much for the recommendation, Jess.. =)

After dinner… next plan? Shopping? It crossed our mind.. but eventually (don’t know if it’s because of me or not >.<) we decided to go back to ntu.. and wow.. it’s not easy. We’re in an extreme traffic on our way to MRT. A lot of police blocking the ways and try to do congestion control (make me remember of my Networking course..) it’s so so so full.. and to make thing worse, it started to rain again.. oh.. what a rainy Christmas.. we can only felt relieved when all of us get into the MRT station.. haha.. we reached NTU before 10.. fuiiih.. tireed.. I wondered if I will still be alive if I was at Orchard until the countdown.. ^^;

Alrite.. need to sleep now.. haven’t started packing at all.. and still need to make a list of sins for my ureca supervisor.. sigh..

Happy Birthday Phing!

19th December.. always an important date to note.. haha.. yup.. my best friend’s bday.. ^^ (eee, ok2 phing, not only friend, we’re best relative ^^) hahaha.. Happy B’day for you… eventually you also reach the head of ‘2’ ^^.. Catch up with u in next few months! Hahaha.. can’t wait to meet u soon…

In order to celebrate her b’day.. let’s write something about my activities.. (???) These few days, most of my activities were coughing. Nothing much to explain.. I skipped lab for don’t-know-how-many days already… sigh.. anyway, look at the positive side, I was really forced to quit my coffee.. so.. the rehabilitation went smoothly.. and now I am drinking milk instead of coffee.. yeah~ a big success.. (Nancy.. hoping you the same success with your Diet-Coke rehabilitation :p)..

On Sunday, I went to Alumni Night Dinner… alone… T__T.. On the way there, a lot of people asking where I was going (maybe because I wore so formal and look like waitress..) and questioning me why I was going while I’m not even on my IA yet.. hahaha.. Thanks to Medy that I got the invitation.. or I’ll be thought of dressing formal only for the dinner.. It wasn't their fault, actually.. the dinner was worth fighting for.. it was excellent! All that you might wish for.. sushi? Malay food? Western food? Chocolate fountain? Dessert? Cheese? Everything provided.. hahaha.. worth my time sitting and listening to speech for 3 hours.. ^^

I knew almost no one there… (ya.. who in my batch am I supposed to see.. ^^;) Only met Erikson.. who was busy ushering guests to Nanyang Audi (and kicked me when I asked him to usher too.. T__T).. and also Peng Ho.. who was incharged for that day first aid.. Ronn.. Who was very busy with SU people.. until eventually.. after kept looking… I found.. Silvia!! Aah.. eventually.. never thought I will be so happy to find her.. ^^. Then I tagged her all along the way.. haha..~~ met more new people along.. all were asking where I worked.. sighed >.<.. not to blame them, I was in the wrong place from the beginning. Hahaha..

To make the long story short, I went back to hall at 10++.. with full stomach.. I ate almost every kind of food there, regardless of my sore throat and cough.. yah, I accepted the consequences for my big mouth… hahaha.. back to hall, rest for a while, then went to celebrate Chris’ b’day at his room.. and.. for the second time, we’re not able to meet him… sigh.. eventually needed to wait for almost 2 hours.. when he eventually turned out at Helios’ room.. haha.. Happy Belated b’day, Chris… All the best for you this year yo.. ^^

Yoz, eventually.. time is 1.30 now.. almost whole day slacking around.. hahaha.. btw, I watched Andy lau’s “Battle of Wits” today.. don’t understand why they said the movie is worth watching at cinema.. find it a bit disappointed…. Haha..

Currently…

Under a high level of pressure. Now is approaching the end of 2nd week of lab.. and I don’t have even a piece of code to show and proof that I do something. What I had been doing is search, search and research.. from first expectation of high level language such as C#, now I’m down to the Windows API programming in C++.. I’m totally stunt when I saw the ‘easiest’ code in the related tutorial.. and end up spent my whole day yet can’t figure out what are those codes talking about. It’s all variables with not understandable meaning. Example of the code:

To make things worse, I’m not in my fit condition.. since Tuesday, I got severe sore throat + itching nose. But I just don’t care about it, and event join ISG, running together with erikson, ari, and jun wei for the opening of ISG… Not really tired.. but after the opening ceremony ended, I directly went to lab again, without changing clothes whatsoever.. the effect was real.. I felt sick by the next 2 hours.. can’t resist it anymore, I went back and rest.

The next day, I skipped lab. Partly because I wasn’t feeling good yet.. and because I needed to prepare to go to aiport with Rina, Medy and You Xiang. Yep, the day is eventually here. The Redcross’ Mission to Vietnam trip. The event that had been prepared from semester 1 =).. haha.. we reached airport almost 1 (sorry for being latee.. >.<) and then taking pictures (as usual) and ate at Burger King.. Food really can kill me. I even can’t resist the temptation of eating those during my severe sore throat >.< Btw.. we meed our prez’ subcomm there. He is really quiting SCE.. for next sem. Yet to decide his future for next year.. due to medical reason.. but he said that we still can call him for help anytime we need him.. thanx so much =)… he is really a good subcomm ^^

So.. by 3pm.. all of them go inside the airport… we go round for awhile at airport before eventually going back.. reaching hostel at almost 5.. then went to check my letter box.. and found my cheque from M1.. horaaayy!! I was so afraid that it wont be delivered to me.. due to the wrong address.. somemore, handarmin had already received it 2 weeks ago.. anyway.. happy2 ^^

Today, I went to lab again. Today, I encountered windows API programming, which made me break down, up, break down, up, and break down again. But at the end.. I decided not to give up.. and tried my best to understand it instead of asking for new project.. it’s not fair for Medy.. and I myself also not really felt good of changing project. Every project has its own difficulty. Just carry on. Yeah!

Self reflection

Who am I? A selfish kind of person. :( Always get the same feeling when I’m in difficulty. I got valid reason to think so. When I’m stress or in trouble.. there are always friends care enough for me.. asking if there is anything they can help… always. I really appreciate what they did to me.. felt so touch… and definitely helping me to distress… (Friends.. thx so much.. you know I mean it)

However.. I myself. What I did when they were in my position instead? I never felt that I did as much as them.. said I’m a bo chap person… I really am.. I did try to help as much as possible IF they asked for help.. but why I’m so seldom initiating the help?

Holiday :'( Holiday :)

One week of holiday passed.. I have a stressful week-day.. lucky it ends with a happy week-end…

On Wednesday, I eventually discussed with Medy.. we decided to use C# to code it. So, on Thursday.. I searched all the possibility of using C#.. Although has been years, C# isn’t very widely used yet.. thus.. very little help can be found how to use C# in networking.. more, all the C# tutorial related with Winsock never can work! Really stressing people up >.<.. On Friday, Medy eventually had time to go to lab. We discussed for a while, then chatted with prof Zhang Jun again. And again, I felt lost. The program must be somewhere between application and transport layer.. and if the program can ever be done, it must be through the use of Winsock.. while.. I really didn’t know yet how powerful the Winsock is. I couldn’t really concentrate on Friday.. Still felt losing my roomie after saying goodbye to her at Habour Front.. (since when I became mellow? ^^;) hahaha.. I eventually walked out from lab at 3pm.. feeling guilty to keep mellowing in lab and claiming the money. :p met Tomy and WK on the way back.. thus eventually had tea break… chatting around of how stress all of us.. ^^; then eventually decided to distress ourselves by going out tomorrow. Journey was being planned.. we chat until 4++ before decided to go back.. hahaha.. Reached my room.. again, felt the emptiness. Put down the thick C++ book I borrowed from Arianto (thanks a lot ^^) then started chatting and browsing until late at night.. Then went to celebrate Dunkie b’day.. haha.. Happy 20th B’day, Duncan! It’s such a nice party. Eventually be able to see that Duncan can be salting too because of so many guests :p.. haha.. I met Hans there.. he asked me about the ureca project.. in where I can’t really give good answer.. however, eventually he decided to join us! (after so many rayuan pulau kelapa from me…) when he questioned me about the prog language use, I said C++.. then he cheered. I wonder if he knew C++ very well.. he said that he knew nothing.. but he really eager to learn. Hem.. quite deterministic =) that made me think.. why it’s so hard for me to leave from my comfort zone of java and C#.. while he is so happy to learn new language? I think I should have taken it as an opportunity from the first place.. instead of thinking of switching project or forcing to use C# in doing it. Thx for make me realize it ;) One week late is better than no at all rite? Haha.. I back to hostel at almost 2.. then of course going to sleep asap.. and wake up again at 9am by alarm. The room was still as silent as when I was going to sleep.. oh.. roomie.. :’( Then I prepared myself.. then go out at 10.10.. met all of them ontime.. except WK who late for 10 minutes.. which was still very2 ok ;) Reached Bugis around 11… Boly gathered with us there (sorry for making u waited for so long >.<) then went to pray together.. the place was in renovation, but still so many people there.. ^^; finished praying, went for shopping a while at upper level of bugis market.. (got aircon there!) the place is nice enough.. but strange that so many shops are closed. We bought some stuff.. (thanx jess for the cute thing :’)) then went to our next destination… what? KFC for sure ^^ Since I commented that the chicken at KFC nearby is small, we’re having KFC at mall.. The place is so small.. need to wait 15 minutes to get a seat.. >.<. but then, all of us are satisfied with the meal (Cheese Fries still the best) Felt very full as we walked out and continue our journey to Mount Faber ^^ It was around 1.30 when we reached habour front and bought our sky train ticket to mount faber.. All girls sat in one sky car, while all guys (poor them, so gersang :p) sat at another car. I got the car number 57.. which is my favourite number.. so happy o^.^o.. Rina was definitely scared when she was going in to the car. Keep holding Jess' hand all the way to Mount Faber.. haha.. It’s a fun experience. Can see the whole Vivocity from upthere.. ^^ Reached mount fiber.. the christmas feeling was really there.. the decoration was wonderful.. the theme is jewel box.. the decoration filled with blue and white.. what a white Christmas.. adore the decoration so much. Hahaha.. We took a lot of photos (for sure) although I need to use my 2MegaPixel nokia camera this time.. ix.. I really miss Canon.. William said that he is planning to buy a camera too.. Canon A63. Eh? It reminded me that William Tjin ever suggested Canon A63 too.. 2 suggestions from 2 William can’t be wrong. Camera defined ;) But I still don’t know when I’ll buy a new one.. still feeling guilty after all.. >.<.. boly said that she also wanted to buy a camera. Haha.. if 3 of us go to buy together, will it be cheaper? :p

Ok, back to main track.. so we played at Mount Feber until around 4.. have a lot of jokes and chatting along the way. It’s so much fun =D.. next, we’re thinking of going to vivocity or orchard.. after much consideration.. since only me and henry who never go to vivocity.. following the proverb “one for all”, we decided to go orchard instead.. Reaching orchard… the shopping evil started to wake up. Bought 2 handbags from Tang at the first half hour.. :p.. then.. went to Christmas decoration store.. I want to buy a card.. but then.. after waiting for more than 15 minutes and my queue kept being cut, I felt angry and canceled it. Have more windows shopping.. then we went to lucky plaza.. bought phone cards (and more windows shopping) and then having our dinner at Ayam Penyet. That was my first time eating there. Comment? Nice ;) Thanx so much friends to fulfill my demand.. although we just have chicken for lunch (shy shy) Finished dinner, my lip is as red and as bold as African T__T who asked me to finish all the chili... sigh.. didn’t want to care about it, next we moved to Giordano.. Tomy and Henry began their shopping madness :p.. hahaha.. after gio, move to Taka.. bought chocolate for daddy and jacket for mommy.. also bought some other stuff for friends.. all of us really shop we never shop before ^^;.. bought so many stuff… We eventually finished shopping when all the shop close.. and going back at 10++…

Reached NTU at almost 12.. feel so tired.. yet happy.. and didn’t have any intention to study.. hahaha.. so just packing some stuff.. and going to zZzz.. The next day… doing all the household stuff.. sweeping, mopping, cleaning desk, washing clothes, blanket, jacket, etc etc.. also preparing the stuff to be taken back.. only finished at 4.. ^^;.. sigh.. then.. start to write this blog.. then.. now is almost 6 already.. going to have dinner soon and watch movie with blazers =)

Such a happy weekend… these is my another 3 days without coffee.. (but also 3 days without studying.. ^^;) Henry suggested that i try to stop it alternatingly.. may be will try to follow it.. ^^ Yooz.. going back in 2 weeks time.. tomorrow will be a tough day.. btw.. looking at my photos, I just realized that I’m so much fatter after exam.. sigh.. why T__T

Those Rehabilitation days...

... fail without excuse. ^^; These 3 days, i have refrained myself from drinking coffee... And so, these 3 days... My brain never can think clearly.. neither can I be fresh enough no matter how long I sleep.. And as the consequence of taking nap too often, I can’t sleep at night, which cause me to even sleepier in the morning.. so.. eventually.. I quit rehabilitation! Yay… As long as I’m not overdoses.. I hope I’m fine.. T__T

If I really need to find something to blame, maybe I should blame it to ureca :p haha.. The ureca madness started this Monday.. Can you believe, I’m really taking a project in networking! The weakest subject I’m in… I don’t know what make me actually accept it at the first place.. now I’m sitting at lab from 8.30 – 5.30 without knowing where should I get started.. sigh.. not really a good sign for a start. I think I have opened thousand of website regarding socket, hooking, etc.. but nothing really stick in my mind yet >.<>.< Let’s see how it is after few more days…

Post-Exam Post

The first day after exam.. I slept at 4++.. can’t really sleep.. then wake up at 10++ (note: ++ can mean anything bigger).. hahaha.. wake up.. cleaning room.. then discuss with my sister if I should go back later.. after discussion, think that I might be able to go back at the end of December.. and coming back the following week.. right before IA.. but the flight ticket is yet to be booked.. see how ba.. my roomie most probably going back this coming Tuesday.. :’( going to miss her a lot >.<

After lunch.. continue installing software to my computer. Microsoft is really fighting against piracy! All the new software can’t be installed without the genuine test. Sigh.. lucky.. suddenly out from no where.. I manage to get a registry key.. which after that.. my windows seems to be treated as genuine.. wow.. hacker.. you rocks! Haha.. so now, I’m using IE 7 and WMP 11, and my windows update run per usual =).. cool ^^.. can relax now.. until Microsoft find another way to break it. Hahaha..

Installing and upgrading took longer than usual.. don’t know why =__=.. until now, 11.30, I just finished to install my last software. Hahaha.. feel satisfied after formatting my computer.. now it’s clean outside and inside ^^.. anybody who look at my computer now wont even know that I ever learnt about java.. (though I know I will need to install it again sooner or later.. ) hahaha..

Ok ba.. replying some emails, then going to sleep soon.. tomorrow will need to set my mood for ureca liao.. :’(

Exam is over!

Eventually ^^ Sem 5 is over! Exam paper.. c ya next year.. fufufu.. A very short summary of exam.. heem.. can say that all are so-so.. never can do all… but nothing to lose, since the exam preparation time is very short (yet I kept complaining why I always be the last to finish exam) so.. ya.. the one I regret most is my Net Centric Computing exam.. I studied hard for computation part.. and study too detail for the theory i.e: learn all the algorithms steps.. but then it came out with the very basic questions: mentions the layer functionality of TCP/IP and OSI.. 10 marks. Yet I can’t do.. the other parts are also a mess.. programming part, I misinterpret the algorithm.. thinking that he was tricking us.. hix.. eventually I’m the only one come out with cloudy face.. while the rest shining so bright. Oh ya, no computational questions are asked. At all. Sad sad.. T_T

Ok, that’s all about exam :P.. haha.. special thanks to Nescape 3 in 1 which has been accompanying me through out the semester XD, providing me with good concentration and good sleep.. but addictive T__T.. I still remember on soft eng II exam I didn’t drink coffee.. in the middle of exam, I suddenly felt dizzy.. and back to home, can’t study at all.. eventually slept until 4 before go up, drank coffee, and felt charged! Sigh.. sigh.. not a good sign, really. (well, afterall, don’t know it’s due to coffee or lack of sleep the night before. Haha..)

So now, AI exam is just over. Artificial Intelligent.. hem. The course title sound cool rite.. Btw, there, I found another respectable lecturer: Assoc. Prof. Michel Pasquier. He really knows his stuff. Another lecturer I respect is Assoc. Prof. Kuiyu.. which I had mentioned last semester. Haha.. Cheerz for both of you! Both has different characteristic. Kuiyi is famous for his anti-microsoft and real programmer.. while Pasquier is for his logic and his commitment to AI. Truly amazing. His answer on discussion board (which has more than hundred questions) is always satisfying. However, still, 1 semester is enough. Hope didn’t need to see him again next semester.. haha.. (I’m not kidding.. this is a killer subject T__T)

What is my plan now? Format my dearest compie. My Kaspersky anti virus isn’t working now.. and there are so many programs that I will never use again in daily life.. (thanks to computer science course..) And since I am in geje mode, let’s list out what software I have now:

It’s a maganize, with all the things like paper magazine, yet clickable, moveable, soundable.. and the design is.. cool from my point of view. Somemore they don’t need to print it out.. so reduce the production cost.. and they can get money from advertisement.. hem.. I really think it’s a brilliant idea. Let’s help them to promote. Happy 20th B'day Roomie! ^^

Late post, but of course, as roommate, I got the chance to tell it to her directly at 00.00, 16th November 2006. fufufu.. 20th le.. with head 2 le.. Happy B'day roomie!! ^^ wish you all the best things this year... blessed with health, happiness, stay pretty and cheerful as always ^^ want to thanks all the blazers who had made it to the b'day celebration too.. thanks so much for coming during the exam period :') appreciate it lots. thanks for tatsu too for accompanying me to JP ^^.. I didn't lose my wallet again. Although almost. yeah! (blush)

Exam period is here now. I just passed my first paper – CSC183, engineers and society. Really really really blurriest subject ever. The lecturer has 2 faces. During lecture, so nice and motivating.. but for grading wise.. she can be worse than evil. 0 mark will be given although you write 4 pages, if it’s not considered relevant for her. Having Henry as the real victim (D for his Eff Comm assignment during first year) I had to believe it… But still… what to do? The lecture notes is given only after we finished our lecture. And the lectures were always blurry.. worse that it was it 7th hour of lecture after my whole tiring Friday.. and since there is no tutorial… I never really listen to what she said… =___=

All those laziness come to effect during exam preparation. I read the whole “Singapore in a nut shell” in 12 hours.. (thanks Henry for borrowing me the $10 textbook.. ^^) then start studying the lecture notes and doing the past exam paper in the next two days. Then went for exam. Then.. as I read the first question, I stunned. About professionalism. Which I didn’t really study because she never mentioned that it’s important… Then I started my bluff T__T.. the next 3 questions were better.. assuming that she can read what I wrote.

It passed now.. what a tiring 2 hours exam. Hahaha.. Next subject is Accounting.. but need to study AI first.. haven’t touched it at all :’( so sorry for neglecting you.. hope that you didn't mad then turn out to be harder than usual (which already hard enough to cause people failing) haha.. But what is more important now.. releasing the stress.. let’s sleep first ^^... I'm always sleepy if at wake before 9 (which is 7.20 today, thanks to inche as usual ^^) although i slept at 11.20. hahaha..

2 weeks of exam.. ganbatte everyone!! Thanks Henry for the exam wish, Calvin for the cheese biscuits, Medy for the Pringles, and Father Jipau for the Mr. Potatoes. hahaha.. :D It did brighten up and fatten up my exam days ^^

• However, as the result of stress and lack of sleep.. I got pimples all around my face =__=

• But still left with CSC301 project, CSC303 presentation, and CSC304 report
• I have replaced almost all my missing stuff

• Mum and Dad will back to hometown tomorrow. Julianto is still at Jakarta. Yongky is still at Hongkong. Erikson has back from Phuket.

A Series of Unfortunate Events

(FYI: that is a title of children books which has been brought to a movie starring Jim Carrey.. FYI too, I just happened to check out the website. It’s soo cool.. ^^)

Back to topic…

Last Tuesday, I went to watch Death Note with Arianto, Bebek, Henry and Yongky. Why all in sudden? Call it exam syndrome. All were too stress with projects and workload that eventually decided to watch movie together. It should had been a nice day. We watched at 3.30, finished at 6, and then have dinner at Kopitiam. Henry set off first to visit his auntie. The rest of us went to fair price.. I bought my things: apple, orange, scott emulsion, mr potatos and lays. Pay the stuff.. then went to other shop..

Only after half hour, I realize that among all my plastic bags, my white bag wasn’t around!! Ari and I rushed back to Fair Price, went to Counter 5, the place where I paid my stuff. I asked the cashier if she saw my bag.. which.. unexpected by me, she said no!.. At that point of time.. I really didn’t know what else to do. I went to information counter, questioning them.. but no result. Eventually, I realize that there were CCTV recording right at the cashier place. In blur stage, I urged that I wanted to watch the CCTV. However, of course, they didn’t let me see it.. eventually, they needed the supervisor to deal with me. The supervisor said that I need to have a formal procedure to see the CCTV.. I didn’t question much at that time. They quickly asked me to first block my debit card and nets… Thus I went down.. blocking those cards.. Then.. since no point of standing there.. I was thinking of going back.. but then.. remember that I need to buy pink tshirt for Medy’s gift. Haha.. Buy.. with what? T__T.. then.. I need to go back… with what, too? Haha.. Lucky that Arianto was around.. I borrowed money from him first.. Arigatou Ari… =)

After buying ez-link, we took 179, directly went to hall 4. Yup, Jess was going to celebrate her brother b’day.. I.. at that time.. really haD no mood at all.. And so.. planned to go back after giving the present instead of ruining their party.. However, as I reached there, they suggest me that I went to make a police report asap.. Who knows then tmrw I can view the CCTV with police report. Abit of laziness, abit of hope, and abit of gan dong for their caring, I eventually went to police station with You Xiang… Thanks so much.. really.. so sorry that I make u skipped medy b’day :( After being there, the police didn’t want to help much. He insists that I need to show my student pass in order to make a report. Hump. I was really to tired to argue that time.. thus.. I just went back home.. tired tired… Still don’t want to believe that I lost my Canon IXUS i5… Still can’t believe why I can be that fool.. and at that time.. I really don’t know what to do.. Somemore, got news from Yongky that the deadline for our CSC302 report is one Friday.. which was unexpected at all..

Only at that time... I can feel the power of friend support. Inche suggested me not think too much about it now.. and tried to settled thing tmrw (sorry che.. I must have gave bad impression to your brother who just came) T__T.. calvin, alan, and ari also kept trying to calm me down.. while blazers even made conference to think of the solutions!! Haiiiz.. I was really really gan dong :’).. Really.. only when u’re in difficulty, then u can feel the beauty of friendship.. only when u ever go through sadness, you can feel grateful with the happiness you get. Does it the point they want me to learn that night? Lesson learnt..

The next 3 days, I went through quite unpleasant days.. Cant sleep well, can’t think well, and always anxious about everything.. it was especially because I involve police.. On Wednesday, Jess and Henny accompanied me to go to police station. We made a report. Instead of lost report, we make a theft report! Why? Because I said that I wanted to view the cctv. Then, because it’s a theft report, I got one officer which was incharged for my case. Everything was getting more complex than what I intended to. I call the officer incharge, but he said that he is busy (with quite a harsh voice) and ask me to call him again on Friday regarding the CCTV.. I was so afraid that he will ask me to go to JP on Friday.. because we’re having 183 presentation… which was.. too bad, we didn’t get the Wednesday slot.. then also accounting presentation on Wednesday… soft eng II demo on Thursday.. lab deadline on Friday.. combined with the police thing.. I’m happy that I still can type blog today. Hahaha..

I don’t want to recall too detail what has been happening during those days. Now, everything is almost come to the end. All the deadlines were terminated gratefully.. And the police said that he will inform me again on Monday... I’m not hoping for good news.. All the experiences are more than enough already for me. Btw, is this also Karma? Lol.. I miss the “My Name is Earl” series. Thinking of watching it after exam..

My “Friday the 13th”

It was late for 5 days. Today is my very own Friday the 13th. As the clock passed 12.00 am, my story began… It started with a short circuit. Of course, my computer directly went off without future notice. And again, I hate hate hate that I never save my work. I was doing reporrtttt T__T.. How many times has these happened? Especially when I was doing things like report and photoshop. While it never happened when I was only listening to song? Anyway, so.. when the Keppel people eventually fixed the thing.. I opened my computer.. and saw that my auto recovery didn’t help much.. :( and the diagram I drew in power point was gone.. As it didn’t have auto recovery.. First bad thing..

I redo some part of the report, before I went to sleep at almost 2. Wake up at 8.40 as usual, bathed, and then wait for bus at 9.15. I usually choose either walking or taking bus randomly. However, for Wednesday, die2 I must took bus.. Because I was carrying a thick accounting book. So.. There I went, to bus stop. Meet Rina and Henny there. They said that they just miss a bus.. then I waited with them… 15 minutes.. and 1 bus eventually came. But full! Wait for another minute.. 199 passed.. another 5 minutes.. another 199 passed… until eventually, it was 9.45 when I got to the bus!!! As I sat down, got a sms from Dunkie “All! Don’t skip 183 lecture for today! We want to have discussion after class!” That was the sms I sent to him 3 days ago. Now, I’m the one that’s missing.. I…. T____T

Reached LT10 at 10.00, sharp. Listen to lecture for 20 minutes.. then discuss for awhile. Felt abit uneasy.. Arlene talked a lot about terrorism in second half, and we’re going to presenting exactly the same thing.. what will happened.. sigh.. after discussion.. I went to have lunch.. finished lunch.. went to met Zhang Jun along with Medy. Again, like yesterday, he wasn’t in his office. But unlike yesterday that he showed up after 5 minutes, we saw no one until 15 minutes passed. I confused and apologized to Medy.. then I went to check my email. Yap, he sent me an email. At 10.20. He was busy, and wont be able to meet me today. Sigh. Not a very bright morning for me.

Then I went to library. Initial plan was to finalize my AI report and print it. But then.. I forgot to switch on my computer today! Don’t say doing my report.. I can’t even listen to song to distress myself. Eventually, go streaming to Ari’s computer. Listen to several songs, then the network is disconnected… Ask for him to open his computer again.. and then that was my headset that didn’t want to work. Arrghh.. T_T

1.00 pm, went to Accounting lecture. Everything was fine for 2 hours. Then I back to library. Can do nothing as I didn’t open my computer. Thus tried to read the Accounting textbook. Next week is our presentation. Feel sleepy since the first 5 minutes. Then went down to take a cup of tea and took a look at the Aerospace exhibition. Meet Dr Timo there. Called him, but instead of him, others looked at me. I was noticed for being ignored. Great.. Finished my tea quickly.. then went back to library.. Spending my time there until 5.40.. then checked email for awhile.. Shock to see the time is 6.05 in computer, while it is 5.50 in my watch.. What happened!? I rush to seminar room. In the middle of road, I realize that my mobile isn’t with me!! I left it at library’s table. Run back to library. And found my mobile. What a fool. Then again, I run to seminar room. Definitely, I was late for the tutorial. After the seminar, my team mates said that they already decided to have discussion on Friday.. I was like !?!?.. why they discussed it without me!? My Friday is 7 lucky hours of classes.. Eventually, I tried to negotiate with them.. finished at almost 8.. then went to dapao.. and walked to the bus stop.. was it the end of my day? No. As I was reaching bus stop, my bag was suddenly dropped to the floor. Broken. I used it no more than 2 weeks!!! Desperate, I really don’t care what will happen to me anymore. Reached home, opened my computer, typing email for team members, and my Microsoft outlook hang as I’m going to send the email. I left it for 15 minutes.. going for shower, giving the computer the time to do its processing. As I back, it is still the same. Nothing else I can do rather than ctrl+alt+del and rewrote my whole email.

IA defined: Apple Computer Limited

Eventually.. After 2 weeks of waiting. =) So happy to see the email. Was asking Imam, but got no answer yet. Wish that he got it too.. Then all of us: Henry, Yongky, Wayan, and Alvin can sleep at mrt and take turn waking up others.. haha.. (only until now I began to consider the distance.. sigh..)

This week.. My energy bar had been up and down accordingly. Monday was a busy day.. get the thing from HQ, preparation for tomorrow awareness week, etc etc.. until I really can’t smile on Tuesday. Then, Calvin did most of the job on Tuesday loh (arigatou, partner!) On Wednesday, got fully charged, done the duty in awareness week, and still be able to donate blood (thanks Xin Lan and Amanda for the priority queue!) fufu.. That’s really my first blood donation. Get good experience.. We need to go through health test and blood test before really can donate blood. My blood test showed that I got a lot of iron inside my blood.. which means I’m quite healthy.. (aha! So drinking coffee everyday is a healthy life style? *misleading*) haha.. After 2 hours of waiting and shifting, it was eventually the time for the injection.. I was totally scared. However.. I was also surprised.. that I actually felt nothing when the needle was injected into me.. I just can see that my blood flow so fast.. so fast that I thought I’m not normal >.<.. I finished the blood donation in 15 minutes. Feel no pain nor dizzy.. but still the nurse asked me to lie down for a while before going to refreshment room.. no other choice. Must endure the temptation to eat for 10 minutes. Haha.. after that.. go to drink milo.. while drinking, a person besides me said that he felt so dizzy.. and almost faint.. I asked Calvin to help me called people.. he said ok.. but then eventually go to nowhere T__T.. seeing that he was getting worse, I quickly called the nurse.. and soon they laid him down at the bed. Fuiih.. lucky that we have professional stuff around =)

My donation finished at 5.00.. later.. Went to accounting seminar.. I barely catch anything explained in the seminar, although I wasn’t sleepy at all. Is it because of my blood volume changed? My mind just can’t concentrate.. (or is this just an excuse) hahaha.. Back from the accounting seminar, I settled Red Cross stuff (which is 3 times slower than usual) and tried to do accounting tutorial (which I eventually gave up after struggling with same question for 2 hours) Man.. wish that this wont last very long..

Thursday morning, as I woke up.. heem.. not feeling very ill, but no energy at all. Bath, then going to school with inche. Breakfast, then have lab discussion. There, I realized I haven’t recovered yet! I took so long to process stuff.. worse, the lab supervisor chose today to question us of our progress. I answer.. of course.. but so so slow.. and again, with no energy or spirit. Feel like really a bad project manager..

As the lab finished, I went to awareness week place again.. helping around… meet Miss Chan there.. said hi.. then I went to have lunch at can a.. and can you believe.. I got no appetite! This is really a serious case. I took half hour to finish my chicken cutlet. After lunch, having discussion with Calvin, then went for tutorial and lecture.. finished with them, redcrossing again.. settling up everything that we will be taken back to HQ. Yeah. Back to HQ. Eventually, tomorrow is the last day of 4 consecutive day of awareness week. Very tired… but really hope that everything will turn out well =)..

Not many people came to Engineering and Society lecture last friday. The class was half emptier than usual. Henry was going to Graduate Dinner. Medy and Calvin also preferred to go back and sleep. But that day lecture was much more interesting than usual. As a foreigner who knew nothing about politic, i hardly get anything to my head during all the lectures. After one hour of dozing, suddenly the lecturer played us YouTube from one TalkingCock show in parliement. Hahaha.. One of the show is a song by HossanLeong. Anybody who wants to hear it, can click here. I'm sure that you will atleast smile when watching it. hahaha... Btw, i heard the song before.. anybody knows what song it is? Another show was a woman speaker talking in many kinds of english (includes singlish for sure lol).. wait no more, get it here.

Kiasu

Gosh, Am I really that kiasu? I have my accounting quiz yesterday.. Not very good, I got 18/20 while Henry got 20/20 and kept saying that it was very easy.. sigh.. Maybe because the question was random? Or it's me myself didn't have strong knowledge of the theory? I DID a bit disappointed since I have been studying it since the first aid course.. however, I decided I shouldn’t kept thinking of it.. and then.. during my sleep, I dreamt that I have test again! For mathematic and biology (strange..).. Worse come to worse, I only got 6/10 for both of the subjects.. and both because of small mistakes. Felt soo down.. and then I eventually wake up and realize that it’s only a dream. Huahaha.. Kiasu mind hum? Exam is coming in one month.. Don’t say revising, I’m still 0% for CSC301 project.. sigh.. Think that I have no other choice..

Awareness Week is coming next week.. And we just realize one fatal mistake. We order the number of polo tee wrongly.. causing shortage of 40 more tee for subcomittee!! >.<.. After the fight to get it done on time.. we didn't get the amount correctly.. :'(.. ix.. need to think of solution soon..

IA Interview @ Apple

The recess is over.. And I can say that I was stressed up most during those time ^^;.. hahaha.. So many things to be completed.. and so many new things coming over. One of them is the IA interview. Happy, for sure, as I was sortlisted for the interview. But, in few hours, I realized that I need to squeeze at least one day for the interview preparation on Tuesday, while I’ll be having accounting quiz on Wednesday (which I can’t help to study earlier due to lab project and First Aid course).. As I was confused, some of my 303 team asked me what to do on the task.. although we have just divided the task in the morning… answering them.. trying to clear the doubt.. and I lost my chance to study the C#... That night, Thursday, 28th September.. I had the worst stress case ><.. so sorry for all the victims.. Rizky, Yongky, Imam, Ari, Calvin, Peko… And thanks roommate for cheering me up.. although you might not realize it.. :P

Fact comes to fact; he is the one who had IA at apple 4 years ago before me!! I mentioned about him in last blog.. but I never know that he will be my interviewer. It’s really a small world after all. Hahaha.. So, tuesday morning, I wake up at 6.. the panda eyes haven’t really recovered.. but I can’t do nothing about it.. haha.. (So so sleepy. .i really couldn't open my eyes when I was brushing my teeth. ^^;) have a great breakfast.. then set off to Ang mo kio. Reach Yio Chu Kang at 8.30.. then got lost for several times before I eventually met Made and CK (so they worked at Motorola..) and followed them taking the bus 70 =___=… when will I be able to have sense of direction? It’s getting worse and worse. ><..

After few bus stop, eventually saw the big logo of Apple. Went down, entered the company.. then I saw that Motorola just beside it. Ohoo.. really neighbor. Haha.. Go through main enterance.. then amazed by the office.. It’s such a cooooll office ^^.. The same elegant feeling as if we enter the apple shop. Haha.. I reached there at 9.. there are already 2 people there. One is Bai Jian, IT officer during FOA.. and another one is.. umm.. his friend. Huahaha.. Can’t remember his name ><.. but he said that he saw me during the redcross orientation. He is from ISP side. Ohh.. ic. ^^;.. Not long after, Alfonsius eventually turned out. Shake hand shake hand.. then he commented that I come too early.. (don’t dare to say that I got lost so frequent that I need to have buffer) Bai jian was interviewed first. Then his friend. Then me. Then Imam. That’s it. Only 4 of us, 2 singaporean from Com Eng, and 2 indonesian from Com Science.. and there are only 2 vacancies available.. goosh.. so afraid >.<.. What question they give? Well.. alfonsius didn’t ask much.. but I was confused enough when answering his question.. first question to me is: “you like design and programming.. which u like most?” aaa… I never expected this kind of question. Hahaha.. Then I just answer properly (hopefully proper enough).. Then more questions were shot “What kind of design you like?” “What you know about database design?” “what database you use?” after some.. the next people began to question to.. “What is software development cycle?” “planning is important. Why?” “what is more important, documentation or coding?” “what is your level of commitment?” “why you choose Apple?” until after the first 10 minutes.. one question shock me, “From your resume, I see that you’re more as team player. Too bad, we’re looking for individualist programmer. How can you convince us that you’re actually also competent as individualist programmer too?” Shocked. Why? Because it’s really stated in the requirement, that they need a team player. Thus, of course, all the way I have planned my interview to work towards the orientation of “team player”. Then.. all in sudden? And I was really suspicious to answer “what you like more? An individual project or team project?” I still try to give my best answer.. and until we came to the end of the interview.. “Why you think we should choose you? What is distinct about you, except that you’re the only female here?” They questioned it, grinning.

When I finished the interview, my level of confidence dropped by half. However, over is over. That’s what Baijian and his friend said to conform me. Yeep.. it’s true =).. So.. let’s just wait for the result on December! Huahaha.. After 4 of us finished, we took taxi to mrt (due to heavy rain).. then went back to NTU.. and followed AI and Programming language lecture without any lecture notes ^^;..

Happy Graduation, Endy Lo & Herlina

Yup.. They graduated! As Bachelor! And their convocation is at Singapore.. How can we miss the graduation of classmates? Hahaha.. thus, on Saturday, Fighterz crew: Fendy, Tomy, Adi, Handarmin, Jess, Inche, Ratna, Nani, and not forgetting I myself.. went (squatted) to the PMCI convocation at Meritus Mandarin Hotel. We reached there almost 5. It was a bit unbelievable to see so many people from one city gathered around in a different country. Hahaha.. There were almost 300 people there! Most of their face looked so so familiar.. as they were from the same school with me during high school. A lot of Science2 students were there.. but Agung didn’t even show up. Humph. Hahaha.. Nancy were there also to congratulate her friend.. and so were Winson.. After taking picture for a while, we (squatted again) to bus, following them to Colombus Court… Having outdoor pictures there. All look so happy.. wearing the graduation gown with the square graduation hat.. uuuh.. I just can’t resist to try it on :P.. hahaha.. Thanks Herlina and Endy lo for making it came true :P..

As the sky getting dark, all the graduates went back to Hotel. Endy Lo herself didn’t go back.. We continue with BBQ at Marina Bay :P.. we reached there at 7.30.. ate and talked until almost 10 before we satisfied and decided to go back. Hahaha.. Thanks tomy to declare me as the winner.. defeating Fendy… let me take it as compliment :P

We reached hall at 11.30.. almost midnight. I transferred photos (as usual), chatted for a while, sent sms to publish my new number.. and went back to sleep.. Still don’t hv the guts to face this recess.. >.<

Anyway.. I wake up at 10 today.. chatted with mum, dad, and sis.. then started the CSC301 programming language.. gosh.. I really felt so blur! Don’t know where to start.. I need Visual Studio.Net for C# to test thing out.. and unbelievable that nobody has the pirate version of the program.. haha.. add with the hot weather today.. I really lost my intention to study this project.. sigh.. and lost my spirit.. make me come out with this kind of no-feeling blog.. =__=.. ok2.. Think that I just wake up early and go to DSP lab tomorrow.

Happy Recess!

Erlin is back =)

This week.. heem.. again.. I can’t remember much of what I have done.. =___=.. what happened to my short term memory.. >.<… a lot of things happened, and a lot of thing that I should follow up.. that’s why I kinda delete all the things that were settled.. sigh.. Anyway, I can remember that I ate KFC on Monday :P… huahaha.. as planned. It has been a month from my last KFC. This time: 2 chests + mash potato + cheese fries + cola. Thanks You Xiang for the coupons.. Thanks tatsu, ari, andre for accompanying.. and thanx to the free shuttle bus! =)

This week I’m still settling the Red Cross design. I just know that every design must go through the approval from Committee, Ms Chan, and Headquarter!! What a tedious steps.. Obstacle is extremely big from the cooperate com of Headquarter. Kept complaining about the stuff.. (“make the photos bigger!” “the words don’t need to be that big, only the title must be bigger!” “you use yellow? It didn’t match with red. What? It’s orange? It’s even worse…You plan to put gold? It never came out well in banner one…”) Ms. Lily.. Thanks so much for all the suggestions you gave to me. And thanks that you eventually approve the design for RCHN Chapter banner. Anybody who happened to read this.. Help me to pray for the clearing of Blood donation Banner.

Talking about ECA.. I just had my AGM (eventually!) on Wednesday. What a relaxing AGM.. only get up and talk for no more than 5 minutes.. and while everything is done, the president (or more precise, CEC) treat us Canadian Pizza.. nyam2.. ate a lot.. also chatted with the new committees.. especially Rudi, our new publicity officer. From the start of the rally, he kept insisting that he wanted to put advertisement at toilet. I wonder why? ^^; hahaha.. wish you all the best ya.. The prez give each of us a Parker pen… Eitts, that is not the token of appreciation yet. Another gift will be given during the investiture. (CEC- work to serve “us” better ><) haha.. Anyway.. eventually.. I really stepped down.. It felt like only yesterday when I was attending the AGM for 5th management committee… at the same place.. at almost the same timing.. haha.. Think that I’ll miss this club. With all the store room fire and everything, it’s memorable enough =)

My M1 plan is eventually over on 21st September. Just as I wonder if I should wait 1 more month before getting a new plan, Handarmin told us that there was promotion from Singtel.. We can get N6280 with $99 from the usual $299.. kyaa.. want want.. eventually, with all will, Handarmin, Henry, Rina and I went to West Mall on Thursday, 5.30 after our class. The bus is so crowded at that time.. we need to wait for the 3rd bus before we can eventually go in… Now I began to understand Singaporean’s sacrification to study here :p

We reached there around 6.30.. easy to find the singtel shop (since we’re with prof. Handarmin). But then.. ix.. the queue was so long.. 10 more people before our turn.. and.. guess what.. almost all of them were purchasing the N6280 too!!! So it’s really that profitable? we eventually waited until almost 8.. At the first time, I was thinking of taking the $0 phone.. but then I find out that it’s not really profitable.. N2160 if I’m not forget.. Thus.. I eventually chose N6280 too!! ^^.. and.. I just know that N6280 is actually 3G.. so they gave us 3G number also.. With 3G.. we can do Video call.. in the rate of usual phone call!! Gee!!! I’m going to try it out soon! More2.. we got the free Campus Call.. $330 each month to call from NTU. And also waived subscription fee.. and since I said that I wanted to retain my M1 number also, Singtel gave me 2 more months of free subscriptions! Ha? Not really understand.. but, happy! We also get free Paris Hilton bling2 cd. Haha.. Out from Singtel Shop, 4 of us was bringing N6280.. Rina got orange one, mine is silver, while henry and handarmin got the black one.. =).. finished with the Singtel, all of them accompany me to M1 customer service, to give them my proof of billing address. Wait for around half hour (gomen all!) then all of us go and eat Burger King.. nyam nyamm.. delicious.. (note: this 3 days: KFC, Pizza, Burger King.. no wonder I got sore throat today).

Reach hall at around 11. Admiring new handphone for 1 hour.. then start to do some stuff on Red Cross.. and especially to my AI.. duuh.. I really spend almost whole week to figure out how to calculate the effective branching factor.. Eventually I slept at 3.. still can’t figure out the answer.. =___=

Next morning, Friday, the last day before recess.. I wake up at 9.20. Settling everything, then set off to school at 10.20… Out of surprise, today I didn’t drink coffee.. and eventually I slept (for the first time in this semester! And being snapped by the paparazzi Calvin ><) in my Engineering and Society lecture.. duuh.. so sorry, Arlene.. My eyes really don’t want to cooperate >.< I slept for almost half hour.. then woke up.. and had dinner with Winson and Henry. And after that… that’s it!! Let’s began the recess!!! Yuhuuuuiiii… Lab 301,302,303,304... I’m coming.. Red Cross first aid.. I’m coming toooo.. hahaha…

Btw, tonight we’re going to celebrate Tomy B’day.. heem.. wonder what have they bought for him? Tomorrow, we’re going to Endy Lo and Herlina convocation. They’re coming to Singapore for that! Looking forward for it ^^

Glory of Love

These few days, an old song kept sticking in my head. Glory of Love. I got it when I was streaming to Ari’s MP3 collections. It really brings back my childhood memory. No no.. not because I have fallen in love at that very young age… (^^;) But my sister used to play the song, when I was around 4 or 5. The cassette (yes, still cassette that time) is titled “20 Love Songs”. I wonder if it is still there.. I love that cassette very much. It has all the greatest love song ever.. “Lady Rain” and “How deep is your love” is also from there. The “Glory of Love” I heard was sung by Peter Catera, but this one is sung by North. No much different in singing style (compared as I watched the video from YouTube.. haha..). I got information that it is the OST of Karate Kid.. heem.. must be a great movie? I really like the lyrics.. Especially the chorus:

Don't Judge a Book by its Cover!

Eventually... can blog again ^^.. I have been thinking of it for week.. hahaha.. Several things happened that make me think of the title.. but gee.. I forgot what it is about now =___= hahaha.. just joking :P..

The first case was regarding our CSC302 Net Centric Computing lecturer. First impression of him.. heem.. ok.. the lecture is a bit monotone, but his explanation is good, and his English is clear, although it seems like he isn’t Singaporean.. Then later.. we also got him as tutor. I don’t know why, but he is so different as a tutor! Sometimes he was stuck with his own question, thinking (and look like trying to memorize) the solution. Shi Yi whispered to me.. “he is old already…” and I was disappointed with him ^^;

Scene 1 passed. Then came the lab rush. While I have no senior’s lab report to be ‘referred’ to, no other choice.. Duncan, Vida and I need to look for him. It was 5.30 after the lecture. However still, he invited us to his office. He said that he usually went home only by 9. wow!? So that’s how we went to his office.. and ask him regarding the lab. Very helpful. He seems to know his thing very well. He’s the one programmed the interface of Sliding Windows Protocol using java, while we only need to implement some methods and use it. Java is kind of new programming language, and he used it to make 10+ class? Quite impressive! He even point out the bug in our program! Woow.. My respect to him grew again.

We finished our discussion in around half hour. Going out from the office, I notice the name attached to the door. SUN Chengzheng, Professor. Professor!?!? Haa! I heard that there are only 2 professors at SCE.. So he is one of them? Ckck.. That’s when I feel ashamed to ever look down on him ^^;.. first or second impression isn’t always right.. so, never judge a person if you know him/her only for month, k!

The second one is the reverse. Medy, the current NTU Red Cross president is known for his ability to get things done, perfectly. He is the best poly graduate, worked at US, dean list, president, and ureca. What else? Calvin and I, who are taking over his position as Communication’s Officer in Red Cross, on some day last week, needed to buy him a token of appreciation. When I was confused of what to buy.. his roommate cum my partner settled it for me. An Earphone. Nice! But Pink. Ha? I thought that Calvin was fooling around.. but then.. he pointed Medy’s laptop. With pink mouse attached. Silent. Then the laugh bursted out. So Medy likes pink? Hahahaaa.. Nothing is wrong with it, really. But eventually I can find something that I can joke about him :P

Ok.. now.. why I feel like my blogging style is different? >.<

Now is 6th week already.. to be exact, it’s near the recess already!! Accounting has finished its first half lecture.. a lot of feedback forms had been distributed.. and I still can’t get the feeling of ‘ah.. still the beginning of semester’ out of my head ^^; (blame it to Red Cross which just had an orientation last week and made me felt like this is still week 0 :P just joking..)

I enjoyed the time during the orientation.. and yeaah.. Although Communication portfolio didn’t be the overall winner, we had the largest number of ‘freshie’ :P.. hahaha.. Winson and I were in charged as postmaster for ‘Crossing the River’ game. We’re from school of computer engineering, thus the games we provided must fulfill the standard of computer engineer.. yap, this game is mostly about logic (evil grin) 1 father, 1 mother, 2 sons, 2 daughter, 1 police and 1 thief need to cross the river. However, the boat only has the capacity of 2.. Father can’t be with any of his daughter without the mother presence, mother also can’t be with her son without the father.. and the police can’t leave the thief with any of family member. That’s the game. Since this is orientation, 4 people were to be the boat, carrying the other to cross the river.. hohoho.. 3 groups fighting, the group with most CE students win the games v^^v.. yeaah.. However, we did badly for the sport games.. sigh.. expected ^^;

At the afternoon, we had a brief Ambulance introduction course. We’re being shown the real ambulance, and can try out how to use the thing inside. More, Thjin also taught us how to use a lot of first aid carrier.. Glad to have the chance to test it out.. I even be the casualty for Rina.. hahaha.. it’s a fun afternoon =).. Finished with the course, we ended it with water boom war. Then, have a BBQ at Staff Recreation Center. We prepared all the BBQ stuff by ourselves.. Unlike last time BBQ, this time all the subcomms are here.. thus we need to… give priority to them? Nooo.. we need to fight harder to get our food! :P.. hahaha.. just joking… it’s true that we should gave them priority, except for Tomy :P :P.. jokin2.. We chatted until around 10.. then all the subcomm went home.. we, as responsible maincomm, cleaned up the places.. then went home.. The good thing of having event at SRC is that we need to vacant the room before 11.. thus, no more slacking around :P.. huahaa..

Sunday, I slept soundly until 10+. At 11, help Wewoen with the design for Tennis Club. She is the business manager of the club… waah.. final year, and still taking ECA? Impressive. Hahaha.. finished with the design, we went for lunch together.. back from lunch, had ‘discussion’ with Arianto.. after everything settled.. I forget already what I did for the rest of my short weekend. Doing the 183, 302, 303 concurrently, maybe. Hahaha..

On Wednesday, we celebrated Handarmin and Julianto B'day. The style is different this time: no more big cake, no more first cake.. but instead, we bought them a gift. Julianto got sandals.. (He really needs it badly) while Handarmin got a novel and tie. hahaha.. Hope that they like it :D Another major change is that: we celebrate the b'day on the H date... It feels much more meaningful =) However, since some might be busy, we decided that our event must finished in 1 hour. heem... After the first test run, feedback is gathered. Half prefered the old way of B'day.. Half preferred both. Then vote was casted. and the result is... 12 : 12. huahaha.. eventually, we decided to just let it be.. depends on the situation later ba :D The meeting closed at around 10. At that meeting, new coordinator was selected. All the best, Henny and Jessica! hahaha...

The rest of the week isn't very important.. heem.. let's just skip it.. nothing much except submitting the 303 report, and rushing for the 302 report. 304 deadline is around the corner.. and here come the second 303 assignment.. poor 301 being out from the lab loop.. I had been warned that I should start 301 soon.. ok.. let’s see!

Aside from all the academic matter.. Let’s now move to ECA ^^.. hahaha.. on Monday, Calvin and I went to Dhoby ghout to have meeting at Headquarter. The meeting was at 5.30. Thus, as I finished my lesson at 4.30, I took 199 to boonlay. Really hard to believe that after 15 minutes inside the bus, I was still at NTU!! It took half hour to reach boonlay.. and as expected… we’re late for the first meeting.. what a good impression I made =__=.. however, Denise, the person we were meeting, is a very nice person (Calvin: for any email related to her, I wrote baa.. I like to write to her ^^;).. she helped us clarifying a lot of things. The meeting continued from 5.50 until almost 8!! So sorry to disturb you for so long, Denise.. But.. thanks a lot, really =).. The other Headquarter members isn’t that helpful. Medy said, besides Denise, Carol is also very nice. Fund raising and Corporate coms people aren’t very approachable. Ok.. noted! Haha.. Finished the meeting, we rushed for dinner. Calvin insisted to eat Sakae sushi.. but no buffet at night le.. hahaha.. eventually, after having dinner (thanks for the treat! :P) we went back to NTU.. and I attended Alfonso’s 22nd B’day at SADM (School of Art and Design Media).. Happy B'day, Pong!! Gee.. the place is nice.. with a fountain there. Nice place for b’day, as we can directly throw the king to the water. Haha. Just joking. I was coming late, though. I missed something. Uppss.. :x.. hahaha.. ok, no more gossip around. Ilfina was there in the party, Mery too, along with Alex. The party finished around 11.. then all of us went back to hall.. (lucky that all of us from big number hall).. Meet Henry and Rudi on the way back too.. they just finished their CEC meeting. Hahaha.. Seems like Malla is better than expected, after all =)

Btw, want to say something about Red Cross vs CEC.. It’s true that small club has even more things to handle than big clubs. I feel that I did almost nothing at CEC.. while at Redcross.. no more than 2 months, and I have more photos that I ever have from my whole year at CEC. Hahaha.. AGM, fund raising, BBQ, photo taking, subcomms meeting, 2 orientations, CIP.. gee. It’s a lot. True that it’s much more tiring. True that we have more limited budget. True that the point is not that much and true that it’s harder for us to keep our subcomms motivated with the small point. Hahaha.. but then, back to the key point. Am I learning thing? Yes. A smooth sea never makes a skilful sailor. Then I’ll stay motivated ;)

Still regarding ECA.. one thing juuusstt happenned yesterday that can be added to my list of 'not smooth sea experiences'. It's about the Welcome Carnival. I blamed myself that I never really understand how to work as a stage officer. I liaised with some performers that time.. The payment of $200 was agreed.. at the end of the day, Linda told me that $200 will need to go through a lot of trouble. Can please make it to $199? Ok.. that’s the first thing. So I asked them to change to $199. They agreed, although they feel strange. Then I asked Linda again.. what should they bring? Receipt or invoice? Linda said Receipt will be ok.. so that the date of their performance, I asked them to bring receipt. We also paid them directly. 1 month passed after that issue. Then Linda suddenly called me and asked me to get invoice from them, and make it payable to NTU Student Union. Last time was made payable to NTU Welcome Carnival.. thus it’s not valid. Ok.. so, I called them again. 2nd time. They agreed to send it to me. After I pushing them so hard and get the mail, I called Linda.. and she said she didn’t need it anymore. Felt cheated. But as long as everything is fine.. then it’s ok.. But then!! Just yesterday, Long yi called me again and asked me to get either receipt from them or their IC softcopy! Hah!?!? What actually do you want!? I told them that I have collected invoice from they.. he directly said “for what? It’s useless” Arrrggh. I was so angry that time. However, I try to ask for the performers help, though. It ended up with I being scold (or more polite: being advised) by them. Kept requesting for strange thing isn’t the way we did business. At the end, they rejected to send anything anymore. I called Long Yi.. also end up being scold for not being able to get thing done… And he also said that he will blacklisted the performers. In my honest point of view, if I was the performer, I don’t even want to do business with you anymore. The performers also said to me that this is really not about the amount of money they earned. It’s about the ethics. I agree.. So.. that’s the experience I got at 11pm yesterday. Learnt. hahaha.. Just wish that I don't get another experience in this short period of time :P

Oh yaa.. at this opportunity.. I would like to congratz ilfina.. for making her way to the publicity officer of ICONS. Also Teguh for being her partner.. ganbatteee ne for both of you! ^^.. Thanks so much for still staying at Red Cross, Ilfina =).. And also Theresia.. all the best for your Sigraph ;).. sad to hear that you’re leaving Red Cross.. but thanks to keep helping us until the end of this semester. Oh.. and also Eva.. Don’t be too stress with the ECA, k.. The list of ECA you show to me were really shocking.. ^^;.. Sorry if I didn’t help much in deciding of which ECA you should forgo: Investment club, Toast Master club.. those will be in the bottom part of ECA list that I will ever consider joining. Hahaha.. Oh.. I haven’t congratz you for URECA yet.. Jia you hor! I know that you’ll be able to handle it well =) Btw, the juniors have name for themselves.. they called themselves Initial D+. Curious where is it from, I asked Teguh.. he said it is because some of them got D+ for their Effective Communication.. the first D+ they got.. huahahaa.. so funny.. ^^;.. well, Initial D+, all the best with your 50+ members! :P

Talking about Ureca.. I eventually took it with Zhang Jun, the most favorite supervisor right now. He supervises more than 20 FYP Students! Including Julius and Cipto. Venny, Hans, Henry, Medy, Andi, and me are his Ureca students. What a huge collection of Indonesian! Hahaha… He even got one student from EEE taking his project. Ckckck.. I took the project on Digital Media Delivery in Peer-to-Peer Networks. Haven’t really started it yet.. plan to start by this week.. But how to start? He said that it’s mostly about streaming video with peer to peer. Heem.. let’s make a start by testing of current product. YouTube, maybe? :P hahaha...

Week End...

The day after DND.. I slept until 10++.. Ooh.. how much I miss the long dozy sleep. It has been weeks without it. Haha.. however, I looked much more panda than before :S. how come T__T… I had lunch with Inche.. then she went for NTUSU meeting.. while I went back to hall and began to focus on IA..

First step! Reading regulations (eventually felt bored even before I finished the 5%). Then skipped to second step! Fill in data sheet and resume (finished in 3 hours with horrible English) and third step! Looking for IA company (had to ask imam where to find the link.. =___=). Lousy me. As I got the list, I looked through the company.. weeeew.. 368 project.. and we’re to choose only one out of it. The first company in the list is Accenture. I considered it for awhile. Typical consideration.. benefit: experience and high salary. Consequence: OT.. (when to do my Red Cross and Ureca then?) and also the fact that it’s very hard to get good grade there. Then I encountered Apple. Asked Arianto if he knew anybody who worked there before.. he said that there is one senior worked there 3 years ago.. and after graduating, still working there. Must not be too bad. However, this is the first time Apple was listed in IA list after the 3 years.. I have no clue about the background, then. But still, don’t know why, I’m applying for Apple. Vida told me about her experience with Mac computer (I just know NTU got Mac at ADM! Ckckck.. what a contrast NTU made to us T__T) With no taskbar and no button at the CPU. Working there means that I should prepare myself to work with Mac.. will I be able to? Haiiik, we’ll never know if we don’t try it out ^^.. so I eventually stick with the plan, although I almost resign when Medy said that he wants to fight for it also.. haha.. eventually he choose Citibank.. Vida chose Exxon.. Yongky chose SQ @ Changi. Winson would fight with me if both of us in. He is at Creative. Henry chose Motorola (while he himself use Nokia ^^;) hahaha.. Yongky told me that Wayan and another CE student also run for Apple le.. need to find out more about it.. who know they have more information. o^.^o Another lousy thing from me.. Apple is at Ang Mo kio. I never know that it is actually farther than Changi. It was about 1 ½ hour traveling.. sigh.. I thought it was at China Town.. >.<…

Finished with the IA matter, it was night already. I had dinner with blazers at hall 14. So did Junior. I didn’t know who organized it, but the second year juniors were having a grand dinner with the first year juniors.. (suspect: Wisnu and Rudi). Nice to know that they gathered around. ^^.. Finished with the dinner, they went to block lounge 69 and played some games.. until 12++.. I myself was struggling with Accounting until 2++… then went to sleep.. ZzzZz..

Next morning.. as usual, called home ^^ Glad to know Mum and Dad is fine2. Then I did CSC303 tutorial.. then refining CSC303 lab.. then dedicated all my time for CSC 302 lab. Try my best to understand the Sliding Windows Protocol.. @.@ the due date is next week.. maan.. during the stressing time, Arianto asked me regarding CSC304 lab.. make me remember that it’s also due next week… olala... and also I haven’t replied Calvin regarding the Redcross Awareness Week… Duh.. am I slacking too much already? The 4 labs are really uncontrollable. Now I understand why Henry became king of Panda last semester. He already officially pass the honour to me last week.. T__T. huahaha.. Anyway, tomorrow, Medy and I were going to meet a Zan Jiun (is this how to spell?) to discuss about Ureca. Wish that I can settled most of the stuff by this week.. since I still got another Red Cross orientation for next week ^^;

SCE Dinner and Dance 2006: Viva Las Vegas

The Dinner and Dance was great =).. I run back to hostel as I finished my CSC301 lecture, skipping the CSC183.. no hard feeling.. as Henry also skipped.. hahaha.. Back to hall, rushed to bath, then waited for Ilfina.. then we went to CarPark F together with Henry and Arianto. We were late 15 minutes from schedules.. gomeneee.. gals ma.. Should be understandable. Hahaha.. As we’re approaching the bus, I saw the laughing from inside the bus. Then I started to think what are they laughing about.. it’s me or the ‘rest’? till now, I’m still not very sure.. but they made joke that i looked like flag, with my red and white attire T__T.. don’t care.. it’s kind of Nationalism what.. hahaha..

There was a long traffic jam before we eventually reached Raffles Town Club. We’re there around 7pm.. looked around.. snapped around.. I got pic with Arlene Bastion! And directly being shoot: “No wonder I didn’t see you in class just now!!!”..sigh. haha.. also got pics with our CSC303 Soft Eng II lecturer.. thanks a lot mam :D.. then we eventually going to the lounge for dinner. Hahaha.. I sat in the same table with new committee: Henry, Rudi, Edmond, Moja, Fajrian, Xuyi, and Ankur. Sat beside me was Ilfina, followed by Arianto :P. The food is great in quality.. but very poor in quantity (blush) I almost feel nothing as I finished the dinner. Huahaha.. however, lucky us, as the 6th and 7th management committee, Prof Yew bought red wine for us! Kyaaa o^.^o.. I didn’t really like the taste, but it feels great to hold a glass of red wine. Hahaha.. Eventually I only drank abit. Henry drank 3 glasses! And admitted himself that he was drunk =___=.. There was pageant and magic show during dinner. 2 Magicians. The first one was really really a joker.. should be put up purposely.. then the second one is great! He popped out a lot of pigeons from no where! That was the coolest part. Pageant wise.. hem.. I support F3.. and a lot of people support F4.. however.. the winner is F2.. :( It’s a good show, anyway. At the first time, all the male contestant came out wearing only singlet and short! What a difference with typical pageant show.. impressed with SCE DND.. at least there is something we can be proud of. Haha.. There was a lot of lucky draw.. however.. as invited guest, we didn’t even have the draw number.. huumpph.. not fair >.<.. there were 30 lucky draws, if I’m not wrong.. almost half of guest got prices. Hahaha..

The party finished around 11, with a final champagne toast. Then, again, we mingled around and take pictures.. with 6th management committee.. with our new publicity officer.. with prof Yew.. even with Elson, the guest singer of the day! ^^ Ilfina went along with me. She got a bucket of flower.. Glad to know that she enjoyed the DND ^^.. You had brightened someone day, too.

We went back to NTU by the same bus. The prez was asking us to go for pool and bowling… considering pool vs panda, I chose to go back and sleep. Reach hall around 1.. transferring photos.. then went to sleep around 2…

Happy Teacher’s Day!

Let’s celebrate teacher day by not studying and typing a blog :P.. hahaha..

What had happened to me this week? In ‘almost’ the same situation like last week.. so many things to do that I really can’t believe it’s Friday again now! Weew.. This whole week I had been focusing much on CSC 303 lab.. (means: I haven’t done any other labs) Being a project manager really means lots more than just do my job and pushing them to do the job T__T.. A lot of ahead planning is necessary.. and Imam really made me realize that. Thanks for all your help.. and so sorry for the time when I was kept insisting for my own point of view.. I shouldn’t have =) Thanks for the rest of the group too.. Let’s make the Software engineering II half blurrier than Software engineering 1, instead of doubling it! Yaaayyy,,, (really need to pray hard) but, so for now.. 80% of the project plan is completed ^^.. also the requirement specification and the design.. We should be able to reach the target before next week :D..

Aside from CSC303.. Red Cross had held another meeting... Mostly to prepare for the Red Cross’s internal orientation.. which will be on 9th of September. It should be at 2nd Sept.. but due to Vietnamese’s national day and a lot of subcomm can’t come, we need to delay it a week. We respected other nationality, you know.. haha.. besides.. really thanks that it is postponed.. I really need to rest… In the meeting, Winson, Rina, Calvin and I planned games for the orientation.. one of it is a nice game regarding logic.. of how are we going to travel from one side of shore to another.. just.. for the orientation, we planned to substitute the ship with subcomms.. then they should carry another subcomms.. fu fu fu…

Talking about games, when I was trying to do my Artificial Intelligence Lab, I found a very interesting game sites from the reference.. You can go there by clicking here.. All the games are related to logic.. but I can only access some.. because the rest need to pay.. hahaha.. I was really got into it.. until.. at the end of the day.. I realized that we supposed to derive the formula for the logic.. instead of playing with it.. =___=.. haha.. but who cares.. Anybody interested.. try the Logic Matches game. I managed to do all the 16 problems.. v^^v (time wasn’t to be specified.. haha..)

That’s all on Monday and Tuesday.. on Wednesday and Thursday, all free time were dedicated for CSC303… studied how to plan.. and frustrated to look for pirate Microsoft Office Project.. Thanks Henry.. I should had asked you from the beginning. You’re the best pirates.. (Yes, it’s a compliment :P) hahaha..

Still related to pirates.. Anybody know about The Hospital? Where Jerry Yan and Agnes played together? Henny had managed to pirate it for us ^^ (hip hip hurray for Henny!) I sneak peek of it when inche was watching.. Agnes was pretty there.. and her hair is black.. haha.. however… her sound seems to be dubbed. Proud to see Indonesian artist in Taiwan’s movie.. however.. she did nothing but crying in her first appearance.. sigh.. hope to see more later. Hahaha..

Btw, Inche took a director position in NTUSU this year.. As a Welfare Officer. Congratulations for you, Che! The first few days might be hard, but I know that you’ll be able to handle it well.. just don’t forget to rest.. and don’t forget to wake me up everyday.. hahaha.. joking2! All the best ya Che! May be you can in concurrently be a welfare director for Blazers too.. Kept us updated for the free buffets around NTU! Peace! ^^

Oh ya.. I haven’t really talked about my subject this semester.. I had 6 subject.. 4 core, 1 Eng soc, and 1 accounting. All the lecturer are fine, in my point of view, even for the eng soc teacher.. Arlene Bastion.. who is so so enthusiastic to keep walking back and front.. till I don’t know where is the best seat so I can listen to her comfortably. She gave us a project to be submitted on October.. We need to find a topic that is related to Singapore.. mostly about the society (& politic) which I was really lack at T__T.. having discuss with the guys (Henry, Winson and Duncan) they eventually decided to take the topic on “Is Singapore safe from Terrorism?” sigh.. I should have formed group with gals instead.. T__T.. I really knew nothing about terrorism.. haiizz.. may be just let them do the job? Huahhaa.. anyway, I think it’s going to be an interesting discussion ;)

Btw, the result for CEC 7th management committee is out…Henry got the full support from all SCE students. More than 50% votes! Leaving the other 2 candidates behind.. ckck.. two thumbs up for you! Also congrats to Moja (Treasurer), Rudi (Publicity), Fajrian (another Logistic), Yongky (sport), Erikson (another sport), and Edmond (Academic archive).. (Woow.. these are a lot!) haven’t added in the co-opt IT officers, Hans and Wayan.. we represented the half CEC already. Hahaha.. Sad that Ilfina didn’t make it to the committee… However.. don’t give up oo.. just fight again next year.. for now.. let’s try your best to be the subcomm head in Red Cross.. hahaha.. Hope that this can help to fight for your desired position next year ;) Ganbatte!

I mentioned about teacher’s day on the topic.. yep2.. today it is. But maybe only for Singapore. In accordance to it, SCE held its dinner and dance. And as the last year committee.. I was invited.. with 100% subsidize.. fu fu fu.. Really attractive.. however.. I can’t make up my mind at the first few hours.. there is a lecture I need to skip (Arlene’s).. and a buffet after URECA briefing I need to forgo.. (strange that the the buffet is included in opportunity cost instead of the briefing) and also I didn’t know what to wear for the dinner and dance.. T__T.. but after a lot of consideration.. I decide to take the ticket :D.. After all, I’m going along with all committee members.. and this might be the last time where all of us can be together.. =) at the end.. I get information that Rudi and Henry as the new committee members are also invited! And Ilfina is also going! Kyaaa.. I am now glad that I took the decision.. ^^.. The DND is tonite, at Raffles Town Club. Will that be any ‘thing’ happen on this DND? Will that be an unforgettable day for ‘someone’? I wonder… :D

Fan yi Chen Campus Concert, Ureca Briefing, SCE Dinner and Dance, all in the same day and time. Must be hard to take a decision for all NTU students to choose what to be prioritized. Haha.. Oh.. btw.. My URECA result is out.. I got A+! :D :D.. So happy.. (although it’s only accounted as GE ^^;) Thanks so much, Prof Chen Li Hui and William.. for all your assistance.. I kinda miss it now.. :’) I still don’t know what project I’m going to take this year.. or.. will I take a project this year? The 4 labs for 4 core subjects are really killers… Btw, the project name I took last year weren’t in the list anymore.. There is only one project from Prof Chen. Heeemmm.. Wish that you get a much better person this year, prof! :)

More to surprise, the email for Industrial Attachement was here already.. Can you believe, they only gave us 1 week for the application T___T help help.. It’s September 1 now.. and we only have time until September 6.. hahaha.. I didn’t know what to choose yet.. Accenture? Exxon? Motorola? Google? Christian suggested CITS.

Red Cross Common Orientation

Eventually… Erlin is back! Lucky this is only blog and not face to face communication.. I don’t know if I’m still recognizable now.. All I did in camp is playing under the sun (changing me to black Erlin) and eat (changing me to fat Erlin) but I didn’t sleep well.. (changing me to Panda Erlin).. hahaha..

Anyway.. after all I have been going through.. I would said that I didn’t regret going to the camp ^^.. Got Rina and Winson accompanying. Thus free to take any strange pictures with them :P.. Further more, all the Red Cross members were really kind.. It’s really nice to chat with them ^^.. The first thing we did as we reached Changi Camp was dividing ourselves into small groups. Winson is with me, while Rina with Hana. Then we joined Red Cross member from others groups. It was 11 people in our groups. After that, we followed the opening speech.. I was so sleepy (sleep at 4+, wake up at 6+, reach can a at 7+, but the bus was going only at 8 ><) that I needed to focus all my energy to keep my eyes opened.. and left with no energy to listen to what he said. Winson said that it’s about 7 principles of Red Cross: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, and Universality. (don’t get shock. I didn’t remember them, I searched from internet.) Then continued with the fact that Red Cross was also known as Red Crescent in some countries (search by yourself for reasons :P)… After the opening ceremony, we began with games. Our jobs were to save the world from terrorism!! (what a GTD-kind orientation..) hahaha.. We played 3 games.. then stopped for lunch (nice luuunncchh o^o^o).. and then continued to play again. Our group was quite fun.. and all the games were fun, too ^^ I really need to push myself to join all the games. First is to climb high to the stone to be safe from ‘tsunami’.. Second is to pass through from stone to stone which is 1 meter from ground, by using 10cm thickness block. >.<.. I was really scared to fall down. Third one was to swing all the way from one side to another side.. Which wasn’t as easy as expected… T_T.. why all the guys can do it without any concern.. sigh.. anyway, I passed through all the games. Really hard games for me.. Finished with games, I didn’t go rafting.. really really too sleepy.. thus I went to nap.. reasoning that I didn’t bring slipper. Hohoho. I tried to sleep for one hour, end up that I didn’t really sleep at all, but at least I rested… then went for dinner with them. Finished dinner, we had “fashion-show”, where representative from each chapter must be ‘dressed’ with newspaper, cans, plastic bags, and some funny things.. huahaha.. Rina and I dressed up Mei2 as Princess of Cans :P we even made the crown and stick from can.. not bad.. but too bad that we didn’t win :( However, it’s really fun ;).. after the pageant, it followed with jam band. We really can’t handle the sleepiness anymore.. eventually, Benard, Hana, Rina, Winson and I went back to ‘room’ and sleep. Bernard set the phone alarm to 23.00. So that we can wake up as the supper began :P.. huahaha.. And then.. using bag as my pillow and sce jacket as my blanket.. I fall to a deep deep sleep.. until I heard “That’s all for today! Thanks so much….! Don’t leave now cause we still have supper and movie screening!” Spontaneously I wake up :P.. Hana who was beside me was also up. So did Bernard. However, Rina and Winson didn’t react. Even as we shouted up their name.. Not something to be surprised of. We stayed near Changi, and a huge plane passed by every 5 minutes. We had to get usual to the sound if we want to sleep well. Haha.. then I eventually began to tickle Rina. Eventually she woke up. She was so sleepy that I felt guilty to wake her up.. then.. we went down.. and found out that the supper was only bread.. and milo.. huhu.. we wanted BBQ!! Haha.. but, eventually, we ate the bread.. also drank. That’s the third milo of the day for rina, winson and me. We drank Milo in the morning before we set off.. then in the afternoon during teabreak.. and now Milo again for supper.. huahaha.. Winson was complaining that Milo is ‘hot’ and can caused pimple.. but he drank it anyway :P.. finished with the supper, we accompanied Mrs Chan for awhile.. who was trying to take photos of airplane using her mobile. Later, around one, we watched the movie screening for awhile.. then went to ZzzZzz..

Late at night, I talked by myself >.<.. winson shocked, woken up, and asked if I’m alright. I suddenly woke up too, and can consciously answered Winson that I was alrite.. olala.. so ashamed. Lucky that Rina didn’t wake up. I was dreaming talking with my father. Shocked too to see that it was Winson instead. Huahaha..

Morning, almost everybody woke up at 7. So did I.. But then.. I checked the schedule.. stated that the morning call is at 8 instead… so I slept again, regardless of everybody already waken up and gone for bath. Eventually, at 7.30.. I opened my eyes again.. seeing that nobody else is sleeping except me.. >.<.. felt shy.. then needed to wake up also.. haha.. Hana and Rina came back just as I was going for shower. Then they waited for me.. and had breakfast together.. again.. it was bread.. and Milo? Hahaha.. no more.. today is coffee. (may be I wake up too late) finished with bread and coffee, we chatted for awhile, then had a forum for 2 ½ hours. Winson and I sat at the first row for the publicity job.. and gosh.. I really regretted that. I almost fall asleep in every 10 minutes.. =__=.. eventually, the time passed also and we had our lunch at 1. Finished with lunch, we took photos near the sea.. As we saw a ship like titanic, Rina and I pretented to be Jack and Ross.. I hold her hand and we kept laughing.. huahaha.. not turned out to be ‘romantic’ as expected.. but.. not bad lar :P We took RHCN NTU photos also.. then went to stage for the closing ceremony. The camp was officially closed at around 2. However.. then, they came to business. One of the organizer committee stood up and said that we need to help the organizer to clean up the place. It’s not right if the organizer need to clean it up by themselves.. thus.. eventually, job being drawn and every group was given different task. Cleaning the canteen, room, out space.. and guessed what our group got? Cleaning the toilet!!! Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa T___T.. How lucky am I to be in the group? There were almost 15 groups.. and group 11 and 12 got the honour to clean the toilet!! Worse – the male toileeett!! Where the hole got stuck and made a pool there >.<.. I don’t waaanttt.. helppp.. but I did it anyway.. along with Winson. T_T.. Rina helped cleaning up the canteen. We did it until around 3.. then went back to NTU.. got the chicken rice (from lunch) again to charge up energy at bus. Haha.. I care of fat no more.. ate it at bus.. then slept until we reached NTU. The bus sent us until each bus stop.. so nice.. ^^.. thanx so much!! So. Eventually.. I am.. back from the 2 days camp.. with new experience of washing (male!!!) toilet T_T hahaha..

Back to hall.. waste no more time.. needed to do the laundry.. then washing dishes.. etcetc.. finished with all the stuff, rest for awhile… then help Ivana to install the Chinese character reading.. then go to Blazers meeting.. and now is 12… haven’t started anything for my 303 yet.. leave it for tomorrow ba.. haha.. btw.. MSE got AGM already tomorrow. Wonder where will ours be? Hope that they didn’t do another last minutes job like the interview.
