The holiday was my first CNY spent at home since I came to Singapore. Who say that working life is less flexible than Uni’s? :p hahaha… it’s good by it’s own way.
While I intended to meet up with my old friends on my holidays, I never expected that there were so many were back for the CNY. It is such a good surprise. Must thank my dear cousin for all the invitations. I can’t remember when was the last time I saw most of them. Mostly were my classmates during my primary school. Some are in my memory so vividly that I can only remember their characters, but not their name anymore. All seems to have gained both weight and height since primary school (I know it is a sure thing, but I just can’t help to feel awkward) Despite all the changes that we have gone through, recalling all the memories and getting updates of their current journey are just… happiness. Hahaha.. My 10 days stay without internet has been enjoyable because of them =D

But of course, family gathering is still my main purpose of going back, second only to red packets. (huuupppss :x) hahahaaa… I did still receive red packets from all my aunties and uncles. Thanks so much to remember that I’m still single =D hahaha.. a lot of my cousins are just married or getting married soon… am expecting to receive more in year to come :p

Anyways, this time around, I have two home made steamboat at home, one during the CNY eve, another one is during the second day. I had a sumptuous dinner for both days… suddenly I miss my mum’s cooking so much.

Other than that… Thanks to my sister, I get the chance to visit Pantai Cermin for the very first time. The place was good, the beach was clearer than what I expected (maybe it’s a good practice to keep your expectation low :p).

Everything was perfect… until I lost my camera’s shutter button and can’t take pics anymore T_T it’s like taking away half of my presence at the place. Haha.. I survived with my phone camera for several days, before going to Sony Center and spent a freaking $90 for a shutter button T_T my sis literally screamed with my decision to get it fixed despite of the price… but I really can’t see other means. My heart just can’t let it go wasted. In total, I have invested: $440 for its original price, $150 for the replacement of LCD crack, and another $90 for the shutter button. Arrgh, I should have get Lumix LX3 with that price. T_T
Still, I enjoyed every single moment home. I got the chance to read my favorite’s Conan too =D
