After all the sinful food that I had, I intended to wake up early for a jog. I woke up at around 7.15am. The wind was blowing hard and the sky was cloudy. I checked the weather forecast and it was showing as rain: 60% probability. I decided not to take a risk, and returned back to sleep.
I finally woke up at around 10am and further discovered that… there was no rain at all! I felt so cheated T_T and maybe sheer of disappointment of how my lazy mind ruined my plan =(
Christmas eve is also a birthday date for my roomie. I tried to find a birthday cake for her, but bumped into the same challenge like last year – there is only log cake available at most places. In the end, I decided to get a Christmas cake and ask the shopkeeper to give me a Birthday sign.

| Double-Function Cake |
After shower, we went to Tiong Bahru market for some shopping. It was one of the rare occasion when I actually go to wet market. Actually, Singapore’s wet market is not that wet ^^; Things are really clean and organized. Kudos to the management! After some time, we then went to Tiong Bahru food court for lunch. This is what I have been waiting for! Tiong Bahru food court is well known for good food. I had difficulty choosing my lunch for the day. In the end I went for the longest queue at that moment, which was the Pig organ soup. Helios joined us for lunch, and I ordered Ice Khacang + Avocado for dessert. Totally regretted the calories spent on dessert afterwards. Why am I so weak with food? T_T
After lunch, we went back home for half an hour, then proceed to NTU Alumni Club for KTV session :p It was raining and we got a bit wet, even with umbrella. We had a nice KTV session from 3pm – 7 pm (favorite song for the day was Mariah Carey’ All I want for Christmas), and then went for dinner at Tech Whye ”resort”.

| Happy Belated B'day Fendi! |
For the last couple of years, we have been going to Tech Whye for almost all the major celebrations we have. I enjoyed it every single time :) It’s really nice to be together with friends, minus the crowd and rain and overpriced food. This time, we had Turkey, Ham, and Sausages set (thanks to Fidel + Boly), delicious log cake (thanks to Tomy), nyummy 933 golden pillow curry (thanks to Fendi), and a lot of other snacks + drinks + dessert all night long for $17.

Christmas Food! Lots of Meats! *Doh!
|
After dinner, we were divided into different groups: board games group, Wii group, and Xbox kinect group.
As usual, time flies, and it’s soon 12am before any of us realized it. We wishes each other merry xmas, had our Christmas cheer with vodka (thanks Helios), then headed back home at around 12.30am. I slept soundly that day, can’t even finish restocking my Tiny Tower.
Merry X'mas everyone!
